But India get remittance from Indian diaspora which contributes to the Indian economy and increase the foreign exchange reserve in India. For example India got $11 billion in 2002 as foreign remittance. It also useful for the family which get foreign remittance for their own purpose. Thus it helps from micro to macro level in Indian economy. But the issue you pointed out is also genuine.

we are still the leading importer of basic things which can be made here in India.IIT teaches Engineering then Engineer left engineering to be management heads so if u need to sell the soap no need to do engineering . Clearing CAT joining MBA Most of our defence equipment tools and software all imported from Other Countries like Europe ,Russia or USA.
☝️Every tax payers of India spend crores of Budget for such Government Educational Institutions .At the end these engineer left india or join in sectors Which hardly make any difference for India as a whole to be a self sufficient self Dependent country. Pointing to other issues of mismanagement by government is not a solid argument for why we must continue to fund education of people who will move to "greener pastures" the moment they get opportunity. If they want to move to first world, then why not pursue thier education there.

See they are not saying that they have problem they are just splitting some facts.... Seats in government medical and engeenering college are limited and very less no. Of seats are available.... And obviously many of the students of IITs get a chance to go abroad but the main reason of getting out of india is government and there taxes..... Like literally you have give tax in everything that you are purchasing road tax ,service tax, income tax, crypto tax and much more....and I agree that this important to grow country's economy.... But the fact is that because of politics major amount gets into there personal life.... And if any disaster comes up....then the politicians be like donate and support the situation.....and this is an example only there are lots of problem in our country....And believe me many of us would like to settle outside because of lifestyle and standard of living

Those who are saying that he contributed to USA are absolutely right but there is one more thing we should all understand that if we were in his place and if we would get such opportunity with such a handsome salary package to work in abroad then we all would have accepted such offer without thinking about anything else. Every individual thinks about his family first to financially support them. He was from middle class family and got the opportunity to fulfill the dreams of his parents and financially support them and that's what he did!

You don't have to necessarily study in IIT to become a successful entrepreneur Mr. Pichai. There are more successful dropouts than IIT graduates in both US and India
Most of those dropouts are from good colleges lol like bill gates,larry page,sergey brinn,mark zuckenburg etc while those from lower level colleges are too less...don't bullshit here if you don't know
Our parents really know the value of IITs and that's the reason they ask us to pursue it. But never against our will.
