I like Elena’s relaxed expression. Hopefully we’ll see Danny release more smart dolls with just painted eyes. I already have two anime smart dolls. I’d love to add one semi real with the semi real eyes and one semi real with the eyes painted.
I hope he doesn’t get rid of the current bodies. I don’t think that I would want dolls with squishy bodies. I heard that the squishy bodies are harder to dress. I like the solid bodies. Hopefully in the future you will have the option to choose between a squishy body or a solid body. I’m mainly like to dress them up. I’m not into trying to pose them in multiple positions.
Agreed. We do not see this happening. Danny has specifically said he’s aiming to get this level of flexibility with the new frame without soft vinyl. We’re hoping for an option in the future with both.
I was super excited for smart dolls back in the days. But the few they had done were not exactly what I wanted, so I was waiting for the perfect one. And during this time he tried to make some smart dolls that could move their limbs and possibly talk and work like a Siri. But that seemingly never got to the real world and remained a dream. While waiting for a doll that would suite me, they dropped the realism with nipples and sculpted body in favor of being more kid friendly. Which wasn't quite my cup of tea since I wanted a well detailed doll. So I lost interest a bit more again. I was quite positive when they started to do various skin colors, but sadly my dream of a doll with actual swimsuit tan-lines never seemed to happen either, which would have been an insta-buy. I bought another brand instead which happened to have a tan-lines version. And from there on I've mostly suffered by being unable to buy a good hair and put it on. I'm 90% sure I got the right size, but it is too hard to put it on so not sure if it is. Which kind of ultimately killed my interest in getting into dolls. Hadn't been following the scene for a while, so got a little excited again when I saw this video pop up (never had your channel suggested before). And this soft vinyl smart doll kind also sound kind of interesting. I suspect it would be similar to my existing doll which had definitely some soft vinyl on her butt/thighs which made it much easier to put on clothes in that region. I've also been eyeing in the past the silicone dolls to avoid doll joints. But never quite committed to those either. I sort of prefer to not have ball joints visible as it brings them closer to my massive collection of PVC figures.
John has enjoyed the customization options for his photography and has gotten used to the joints. He seems to like them better than the silicone bodies we’ve looked at. They’re a little too “uncanny valley”. If you’re serious about the tan lines idea, I would look into having an artist do a full body blushing on a doll. Make it anything you want.
😅 I rather buy myself for the Price like 6 or so dolls / clothing and pay the import fees. (And I bet, it will be still cheaper.) 260.000¥ is a bit to much for 1 Doll in my opinion. But looks awesome 🙂 have fun.

Neat idea. Try an adyka flex body for that if you can get your hands on one. They seem more “fleshy”

You could try a flex body I have one I love her they’re made to fit with smart doll heads and dollfie heads as well
