Simcity in C&C is an underappreciated art.
Because C&C is so mobile in play simcity is less important than in SC or others. I agree though, underappreciated.
bonus_ru used to do it a lot. was very nice to see a different playstyle than the norm.

That was quite an amusing match if being honest. Not only in terms of action but also particularly that Scrin play. It awful lot resembled the way you would play R-17 in KW, as in: harass and in all ways hold off your oponent all the while eco- and teching up yourself to Reaper Tripods, build them a bunch and march on forwards with reinforcements. That's what I saw happen in this match from your side, except for the Reaper Tripods you have Annihilators, tho, funnily enough, they get the same upgrades as Reaper Tripods, heh. Anyways, great match. Tiberium Essance is damn interesting looking that's for sure.

Super cool to see some Tiberium Essence games on here. I'd love to see more. I have some replays myself I need to review. Just to let everyone know, buildings build much slower in TE, and harvesters are tougher, so the players here aren't noobs, they just had to play a little more defensively than in vanilla.
Interesting to see tiberian sun units put into 3D world. Kinda hard to get a grip of the gameplay though as I have no idea about 90% of units, upgrades etc.
Whoa, that was unexpected! I have done a lot of brainstorming work behind Tiberium Essence back in the day along with a group of other fellows. Really cool seeing it played here, too! :D
The primary though process behind TE is to make it fit into the universe, design wise. It started as a mod that simple brought back the plant-pod Tiberium, then we got Titans and Wolverines and it kind of went onward from there. Of course, props to Carnius, the mastermind behind the mod and almost all physical content within it. :)
Holy crap. The nostalgia from Tiberian Sun. Titans, Disruptors, Mammoth tanks, even the MK 2 gets deployed. They even took the Kodiak from Rivals. That's insane. I can't wait to see nod.
Essence is a great mod. The Forgotten 2.0 version is a bit unstable, but regular 1.6 is fun. Balance is definitely *different* compared to the base game, but sometimes you just gotta try something new.
I just played 1.2.1 and the Forgotten's units are waaaay too weak
It's kinda cool seeing old Tiberian sun units in this mod, like the Mammoth MK2, the Kodiak and the disruptor tank, was not expecting that :)
I'm actually curious if they made it to where the disruption tank can detonate Tiberium in this mod like it can on Tiberian Sun O.o
Sonic weapons don't attack Tiberium since you could kill your own eco. However, blue Tiberium in this mod explodes, and chain reacts with other blue tib.
@@deltav2203 Actually, it should destroy Tiberium. In the early TW days, Sonic Emitters would actually destroy Tiberium as well, though this was changed in a later update by EA. I brought this specific nonsense up internally and as far as I know, it was fixed. Sonic tech was developed with the specific use case to break down Tiberium, made with information gained by GDI from the Tacitus in Tiberian Sun Firestorm.
I like seeing the mods here and there, so long as they are well-balanced for multiplayer. It keeps things fresh.

People do a fair bit of streaming of Rivals. It's not a desktop C&C but it's good for what it is.
C&C 4 and Tib Alliances not so much.

Yeah the creator's goal was to add in Tib Sun units as well as new stuff they designed.
@@OneSybert The idea was basically to bring C&C3 back into the fold, design-wise with previous iterations. The jarring world design change was quite off putting for a lot of C&C fans, including myself.
This hopefully means we'll get some RA3 Mod VS

@@OneSybert Maybe do a collab match with the developers with that cool red alert 3 mod with featuring the chinese faction to really show them off against an main faction. I think it's called Red Alert 3..... Corona... well at least it would be fitting. -_-
@@OneSybert It really makes me wonder why. DoW 2 has a large competitive scene with it's elite mod, and with RA3's balance issues it genuinely surprises me that there is no widespread re-balance mod for competitive.
@@OneSybert I definetly know that, at least for the Corona mod, the game's not in open beta yet for us in the west. There are actually casts of a bunch of games already, but entirely in Chinese, posted on a chinese youtube-equivalent at that too. The localisation isn't done either and there are still English name changes happening from time to time again, so got to state one of the team's translators at least. Personally, I would definetly not mind mods, they can be quite refreshing! I'd be up for it if you want to include some more C&C mods.

C&C Generals: Zero Hour has a mod called Contra that's actively developed with balanced multiplayer in mind whilst still providing a very transformative take on the game. The mod's Discord server has a channel dedicated to replays, with new ones being uploaded semi-regularly by players.
I'm pretty sure I casted some Contra games years ago, but good to hear it's doing well.
The orca rigs look op those things are nuts
They can get focused down pretty quickly by tech 3 units
I enjoyed this, ''fresh'' in a way. But as another comment pointed out, it would be appriciated if you had a video that very briefly went over the units, wouldn't have to be more then 5 seconds, that would be perfect. =]
I really like this mod, it's basically 'What if Tib Wars was more of a direct sequel to Tib Sun', or 'Tib Sun 2' for short. I love Tib Wars but this mod kinda brings back some of the lost atmosphere from the previous games and I'm all for that.
Yeah that's really what it started out as and then I believe they expanded and added some new stuff they designed.
I actually never did like the 'Getting Units from Selling Structures'.
A unit is a unit, a structure is a structure.
But in the end I love mods being useful, but hate that we need mods to make a game 'playable, good, up to balanced' sometimes! I really do wish we'd just have a better gaming community that has more control over production - i.e. the players help assist & therefore better control the directions & production pace of games!
More mods please! But maybe also if you are going to do them more often you could make a quick video explaining the major differences for each faction for each mod you'll cover? Not like visual or audio changes but major game changes in a quick video for reference so we can enjoy? :) Just an idea! Keep it up

Oh my, would you perhaps consider casting some Contra mod games from their tournaments, I really do enjoy when you cast these modded games, or perhaps it's just you. Anyways, great cast.

always love the mods and love the mod for red alert 2 to Mental Omega
4:48 I only have 2 harvesters working on that field. Wondered why my field just wasn't getting harvested.
Nod are op in this mod, "Devil toung" aka "flame tanks" had an upgrade to dig and teleport any where in the map, with thier high damage against buildings, they can destroy a base in seconds.
And the apc for 2 sneaky engineers base capture.
There is definitely a lot of imbalanced stuff going on. A large part of why is because when brainstorming ideas and balancing the game, it was never imagined that anyone would play it _seriously_ online. More for compstomps and campaign and all that sort of stuff.
Would love to see it get properly balanced though, if the creator is interested.

that should allow you to follow a normal mod guide, don't mess with them myself.
Anyone have a quick tutorial on how to install this on Origin? I prefer origin CNC3 for the cloud saves.

Is it possible to mod the orgin version of the game?
I'm running this mod on the Origin version of the game.
I had to use Bibber's launchers to pull up the UI to launch the mod, other than that it was just like the old retail version.

Hey, I was thinking about getting into online Kane Wrath and RA3, what do I need to do to get started to play games in the community Sybert casts?
It should be C&C Online plus the addons/maps from the community. I dont play it online so I dont know the whole thing
For Kane's wrath look up Command Post at cgf-uploads.net/cp. That should give you everything you need.
To play online you need to get setup with C&C Online: cnc-online.net/en/
Many people use community patches, but they aren't necessary.
KW has 1.02+: cgf-uploads.net/cp
RA 3 has 1.12.6: www.gamereplays.org/community/index.php?showtopic=1004431
But once you do get setup with C&cc com use the command post as well.. It's primary task is to deeply integrate with your Kane's Wrath installation and help manage your replays, patches and deliver KW-related content in a meaningful, precise, convenient and personalised manner.

There is currently an Alpha version which does have forgotten. But its in alpha, so its pretty unbalanced and buggy. Not very suited for pvp, but a lot of fun for PvE. Definetly worth checking out!

This looks pretty damn awesome - as others suggested just showing a general idea of the factions / units would be cool atleast for the first 1-2 replays. Only seeing this one game tho it looks a bit imbalanced lol - maybe the gdi player just didnt make the most of his units but the anihilators just stomped everything gdi had
Not sure if you got to try out Banshees in this mod but they are pretty insane.
Banshees are really really good in this mod. Just the best tank hunter aircraft and really good vs air as well
Aren't they a bit redundant with stormriders around?
@@UnrealPerson In a 1v1? I think the stormrider would die before it can even fire. but it might have been changed idk
well Stormriders are Scrin and Banshees are nod. So yes. And I can say the Banshee oneshots the stormriders without shields ;)

I honestly prefer the Tripods over the Annihiliators and the Tiberium Wars Tiberium over this one but I generally like the mod.
From what I saw it seems that these Annihilators and TW/KW Tripods function pretty much the same, the differences are in stats mainly and movement/turn speed. I guess you were referring to how they look tho, right?

I hate how they make the tiberium into a tiny green whatever that is, the original tiberium crystal have much more depth, detail and impact than what they're doing here
Original as in to C&C3? Because tiberium nodules looked like this in _Dawn_ and _Sun_ .
uhuh .. except the tib in essence is what it looks like in tiberian dawn and tiberian sun, in wars they just look like green minerals

defiantly try C&C Generals Contra 009 final it is a good mod and should be a good cast. it is balanced with multi-player in mind
