It's a safe buy as soon as it is out for PS VR2. I already played it on the flatscreen, and I thought, it's great, but it would really be wonderful to be inside of the game, not only starring on a flatscreen. I hope better graphics would be possible on PS VR2, because of foveated rendering and eyetracking, the original graphics looks so beautiful. And give us dual shock controller too, because the vr sticks are out of power way to fast. 🥰
Initial release is for Meta Quest only, but we do want to bring it to other VR platforms in the future! When it comes to combat, it ain't our main focus but there might be a DLC that significantly expands its features and mechanics coming at some point, or some simple QOL updates for it based on players' feedback

We're a very small team (13 people total for the entire studio) so we simply didn't have time for the Q3 enhancements yet with some necessary fixes before the release, but we'd want to make an update with them soon after the release, tho I can't share with you any dates yet 🤔

didn't understand exactly how the way to collect items works, I saw the yellow marker but didn't understand. Do you aim with the arm to create this yellow marker and then, when press grap it comes to your hand? Just wished the tool/weapon creation system got a bit more immersive, close to what Green Hell (the meta quest version) did, Making you collect and hold the necessary items in hand, press the trigger, and put them close together in the correct position to craft, or wind the rope to craft a bow for example. but even this way it looks like something that I will put 50 hours into easily.
You aim at the item, and grab it with a grip button once the yellow indicator appears 🤗 or you can put it into your inventory directly by pressing the trigger. We do have the 'putting resources into the ghost of an item' for the tools, but for example we also have weaving ropes and special station to craft a bow, check out our shorts tab, there's a video on that already called hunting lodge teaser 😁
Just saw the trailer and its mesmorizing, is not what I ment by "wind the rope to craft a bow" but the way that the hope was created I had never saw in any other game. Again this game looks amazing.@@spectralgamesvr Is there plans for multiplayer any momment?
Woll you miss out on much of you go straight to sandbox mode? That's where I want to start, but I want to know if I'll miss out on much if I start in that mode without doing campaign
Main difference is Adventure mode limits you to a few building areas (to not interfere in the plot) but you do get to live through that 20+ hours of the main story and additional areas which you won't be able to experience on the sandbox mode (at least for now, we might change that in the future), but the sandbox mode still has side quests and dynasty quests available, with no limitations to where you can build. So I guess you can have fun in your sandbox settlement, and if you'd ever want to experience the storyline there's no harm to make another save on the adventure mode to get to know the story and story-related areas ;)

Tthe way we build a house righ not is pretty much the same concept as of the flat-screen Medieval Dynasty, so I dunno how much creative freedom we can have with changing that in the future, but we know having more house shapes etc is much requested As of now you have small, medium and big house to choose from, with all walls types being customizable~

Hi there! Furnaces in towns ain't playable as they belong to NPCs, you gotta build your own smithy! Furnace in your own smithy doesn't have the entry for the ores covered by anything - this is how NPCs restrict access to theirs.

Is the VR version as comprehensive, or are there significant limitations?"
Our game has been completely remade to fit VR experience - we wanted to make it a satisfying gameplay for a ususal VR gameplay session (30-90 minutes) so you'll be able to accomplish something each time you play (building new house, establishing smithy, going for a minid and treasure hunt adventure) rather than have you grind mindlessly for hours straight (which wouldn't be possible with Quest's battery and your own brain force). Currently we don't have mounts, but we'll think about adding them if there's big enough demand for them, we've also opted for a reasonably sized map rather than making a vast terrain with not much things to do which would make it a tiresome walking simulator. Instead our map is big enough to mak eit both feel like a fun open world with loads of point of interests, but also small enough to not make you reconsider your life decisions if you decide to settle far from one of the existing villages. Plentiful of our players are OG flatscreen medieval players, and we're constantly hearing that despite it being a completely different game it still has the vibe of Medieval Dynasty, but making it a completely new experience (even for people with hundreds of hours in the OG one) That being said, thank you so much for supporting us early in the process!

@@The_darkside_of What does one have to do with the other? if I have a Quest3 then it does make a difference whether I play the normal or the optimized version. It's particularly annoying in VR and if you read the reviews you'll see that I'm not the only one who thinks so. And to get to your comparison: try playing Chronotrigger in 4k, it looks like crap but it's still a good game. As soon as medieval dynasty is optimized it'll go straight into my shopping cart.
there’s a glitch killing animals on mountains as part if them sinks into the mountain and disappears then you can’t skin them making the whole thing a big waste of time and energy. Please fix this as this has happen a dozen or so times since i started playing three days ago

Hi there, you can demolish a building using the hammer icon in your dynasty book, you gotta be outside the house and point at the door, there should be a popup menu for that!
Lol for the 2 psvr2 players? Devs make games for systems that have a player base....lol psvr2 players are the lowest base in VR gaming.... its a waste of money and resources. You shoulda picked a headset that doesn't die.... like Sony... who have already given up on their system... since release, Sony have only made and released ONE game under their name for psvr2... thats the worst support for a system I've ever seen in my entire life... snd I started with an atari!

@@spectralgamesvr The problem is that there are a lot of players who prefer to play in PCVR version with the cable directly to the computer, for more power and much better performance and resolutions. Especially when have made some modifications via oculus debug tools. That's why I wouldn't buy the game. Not on the meta store. For me it will be a limited game and impossible to improve.

Our character doesn't have a set gender (or at least for now, as you've mentioned if we'd add full body one day it'd be inevitable for obvious reasons 😂) BUT you're able to choose more feminine/masculine appearance of your hands, and a female/male voice!

We do have pop-up tutorials for most of the mechanics (based on players' feedback we'll add more if needed), the Dynasty Book has some hints on how to do stuff as well, we also have encyclopedia available in the pause menu which dives deep into explaining stuff, AND to begin with there's an optional tutorial scene that walks you through basic controls and mechanics, I've simply skipped it here because I didn't want to waste 30 minutes on the tutorial stuff that's best to experience on your own, so instead I kind talked about stuff during my own playthrough

Hi there! Furnaces in towns ain't playable as they belong to NPCs, you gotta build your own smithy! Furnace in your own smithy doesn't have the entry for the ores covered by anything - this is how NPCs restrict access to theirs.
Going to get this one for sure. Will it have teleport locomotion? I'd like to recommend it to a friend who gets motion sickness from movement VR if it does!
We have smooth movement, teleport and hybrid one! So you can choose whatever fits your gameplay best

"I've played it a lot on PC/Steam, and now I've bought it on Meta Quest, even though I don't have the Meta Quest 3 yet (I plan to buy it in June). I wanted to support you by purchasing the game already.
However, I have some concerns about the VR version. On PC, you can explore large maps, ride on various mounts, and build big cities. Is the VR version as comprehensive, or are there significant limitations?"
Our game has been completely remade to fit VR experience - we wanted to make it a satisfying gameplay for a ususal VR gameplay session (30-90 minutes) so you'll be able to accomplish something each time you play (building new house, establishing smithy, going for a minid and treasure hunt adventure) rather than have you grind mindlessly for hours straight (which wouldn't be possible with Quest's battery and your own brain force).
Currently we don't have mounts, but we'll think about adding them if there's big enough demand for them, we've also opted for a reasonably sized map rather than making a vast terrain with not much things to do which would make it a tiresome walking simulator. Instead our map is big enough to mak eit both feel like a fun open world with loads of point of interests, but also small enough to not make you reconsider your life decisions if you decide to settle far from one of the existing villages.
Plentiful of our players are OG flatscreen medieval players, and we're constantly hearing that despite it being a completely different game it still has the vibe of Medieval Dynasty, but making it a completely new experience (even for people with hundreds of hours in the OG one)

@@The_darkside_of What does one have to do with the other? if I have a Quest3 then it does make a difference whether I play the normal or the optimized version. It's particularly annoying in VR and if you read the reviews you'll see that I'm not the only one who thinks so. And to get to your comparison: try playing Chronotrigger in 4k, it looks like crap but it's still a good game. As soon as medieval dynasty is optimized it'll go straight into my shopping cart.

there’s a glitch killing animals on mountains as part if them sinks into the mountain and disappears then you can’t skin them making the whole thing a big waste of time and energy. Please fix this as this has happen a dozen or so times since i started playing three days ago

I removed everything inside it, thinking I could demolish it then the same way I did it with the furniture but nope. So, how do I demolish a building? Thanks and cheers.
Hi there, you can demolish a building using the hammer icon in your dynasty book, you gotta be outside the house and point at the door, there should be a popup menu for that!

@@spectralgamesvr The problem is that there are a lot of players who prefer to play in PCVR version with the cable directly to the computer, for more power and much better performance and resolutions. Especially when have made some modifications via oculus debug tools. That's why I wouldn't buy the game. Not on the meta store. For me it will be a limited game and impossible to improve.

Our character doesn't have a set gender (or at least for now, as you've mentioned if we'd add full body one day it'd be inevitable for obvious reasons 😂) BUT you're able to choose more feminine/masculine appearance of your hands, and a female/male voice!

We do have pop-up tutorials for most of the mechanics (based on players' feedback we'll add more if needed), the Dynasty Book has some hints on how to do stuff as well, we also have encyclopedia available in the pause menu which dives deep into explaining stuff, AND to begin with there's an optional tutorial scene that walks you through basic controls and mechanics, I've simply skipped it here because I didn't want to waste 30 minutes on the tutorial stuff that's best to experience on your own, so instead I kind talked about stuff during my own playthrough
please make this game for headsets that can play at more than 45 fps and don't force us to use the meta store

We want to make more maps available with future updates/DLC 🤗 As of now we don't have mounts as the map ain't big enough to justify having them
