Sure is, I nearly clicked off but thought I'd give it a go, Honky Tonk Women' for me,was a blokes song, but these girls blast it out brilliantly, and Pat Benatar was fabulous.
Pat, like some of her contemporaries, helped pave the way for these other girls she is singing with, and in my opinion, she is outperforming them. She was formally trained in classical music and sang opera, which is why her voice has so much range and is so powerful.
The opening lines of this song could only have been written by Jagger and Richards. One of the greatest songs ever. These girls kicked the arse out of it. Fucking brilliant!!
amazing thing about Pat is, how versatile she was on this show...from raspy rock, to pristine harmonies and upper register...none of these other women come close to matching that range...

@@PC4USE1 Yeah, I thought so too. Although Pat overdid it in the beginning and let her intonation go into nowhere land, it was ok - close enough for rock´n roll.

Pat Benatar carried this tune! Do not like the Dixie Chicks, but they did well. Emmy Lou was great as well, even though I wished i could have heard her sing on this. Only disappointment is this black gal just banging on the tambourine with no sense of time or Rythm! Do not know who she is, but obviously not a musician! She made a Steller performance mediocre just by being on stage. Sad.
I read that it was Mary J Blighe, she looked as miserable as sin. Only time she stopped frowning and almost smiled was as the song was ending and the credits were rolling.
Does anyone know how long ago the actual concert aired? (As opposed to when the video was loaded to RUclips.) Have to think it was quite a while back. Pat Benatar is IMHO the greatest female rocker of all time, and I think she could give any of the men serious competition, too. I love this rendition overall, but especially Pat's turn.
Sheryl's voice is good but that's all it is - a voice. Pat's voice has BALLS. :) Hard to tell at times exactly what she's saying - they edited the words to the point that the only thing that resembles the original is the chords.

great version of a true classic song We need more Pat B ! and excuse my lack of knowledge butt who is playing on the steel guitar solo???? great solo, and ...wow
what a line of talent and gorgeous ladies you girls rock on!!
MY God Pat Benatar's vocals are like a jaguar cornered in a room about to pounce, her voice IS ROCK AND ROLL
I would crawl in the snow to see pat
You said it. 👏👏👏
Sir, yyyessss, Sir !!!
Used to sing opera. Hasn't she got a terrific voice or what!!!

That's what I would call real "Girl" power (actually rather Lady power, they are all definitely grown up)

What an incredible amount of talent on that stage! But Pat blows them all away!!!!!!!!
For a small girl, Pat Benatar’s voice is way powerful! She comes loaded for bear on this song.
Amazing woman all of them
she came ready to deliver
Pat always delivers!!

I love 💕 how Pat snarles when she sings! She is my favorite Rocker girl of all time.Powerful voice beautiful woman 💅
Thats a great description of her singing. "snarls" for the win!
Agreed! I've been listening to Pat since I was 17, (not to age either one of us! lol)
I love her voice. She's my all time fave!
A billion thumbs up !!!
Always struggled with the “ definition “ of her style. Thanks
I agree for the most part, but Ann Wilson is equally good on vocals
Pat Benatar still has that well known growl, and swagger. She's still a powerhouse.
I agree!
Excellent! Pat Benatar still takes charge and shows the younger artists how to Rock and Roll!
Pat Benatar is like a fine red wine. it just keeps getting better with age....
