death of the endless is not a representation of death she is death so necron, the black flash, the black racer represent the concept of death so there like avatars of death where as death of the endless is the very concept of death and not a representation or avatar but the source. It's like a green lantern and there ring the green lantern channels the power of the ring but they themselves don't have the actual power the ring does, death of the endless is like the ring and necron, black flash, black racer are like the people who channel the power of death. I always felt the same way but Sandman #48 explains the endless as embodiments of concepts. Either way, this is a good way to look at it.

I like how you put it. I look at it more as Nekkron is better stated as anti-life and not death. While Death represents the transition from alive to dead. She is neither good nor evil. She just is. Nekkron has motive, wants, and desires.
ComicsExplained The above explanation comes from a very, shall we say, peeved Neil Gaiman -author of Sandman and creator of the Endless. Another DC writer (can't remember the name), from a Captain Atom comic, tried to reconcile the multiple incarnations by saying that each entity embodies a different kinds of Death. _Black Racer_ is Death as Inevitability; _Death of the Endless_ is Death as Compassionate Release; _Nekron_ is Death as the Ultimate Foe. The Black Flash wasn't mentioned, but we all know that it is Death for Speedsters.
Neil Gaiman then lost his #&_* in the most amusing rant about contradicting his work -If Twitter was a (popular) thing back then, it would've been trending. Basically he explained that there was "nothing much to say about her rather than she IS death. Not a representation, not a entity, not a aspect, but literally death itself. Similar to how the life entity IS life, she is death. Ironically, she is the exact opposite of what people think death would be. She as happy and friendly to all. Since she is death she is omnipresent and is virtually everywhere in the multiverse at once. Her exact power is incalculable and cannot be defined but it is without a doubt beyond that of any god or mortal [save for the Presence, Lucifer Morning Star, and (possibly) Michael Demiurgos - my words not his]." (All paraphrased btw). So all others are merely Avatars of her power in Gaiman's eyes. No writer has ever bothered arguing with him ever since.

That death scene of Kyle's girlfriend hurt my heart.
Death of the endless isn't an embodiment of death but she is death. Nekron is the death aspect of the emotional spectrum so he's an embodiment of death like "the black racer" is death for the new gods and is also an embodiment of death. The stories about Nekron never says that he is death only an embodiment while the stories about death of the endless says that she is the concept of death or some anthropomorphic version of death.
That's just my theory

The best thing that ever happened to Swamp Thing was the Injustice games (and probably Justice League Dark now that I think about it). Before that, nobody knew who or what "Swamp Thing" was.

You should make a video about Jonah Hex, his former Black Lantern status and why he is not one due to time travel. The only movie about him covered nothing save for a backstory about his looks and the fact that he has a way to talk to the dead and dying.

Jaded Jv, it's not a mission like "here go get some beer", it's in his nature to hate Kryptonians that's why he hones in on Superman and only Superman once he see's him. Doomsday has emotion but it is mainly hate. From Doomsday wiki page.
Doomsday is depicted as a deadly monster genetically-engineered from the depths of pre-historic Krypton. His creator imbued him with few feelings, mostly hate and destruction, which led to him destroying worlds and eventually finding Earth where he meets Superman.

Hey, Rob! Just saw The New Super-Man blowing up on reddit due to a great candid pic of a cosplayer dressed as the character with an Asian boy walking up to him (it would appear to me with interest!). Got a few videos without that weird jarring black screen pause before it started happening again? Anyways this was otherwise a great video! Man an event hasn't had this good of a crescendo since then, it was really intense! This whole series makes me really want a origin of Guy Gardner video though, I really don't know much about him at all.

I feel like Death of the Endless serves a different function than Nekron. He's a malevolent reaper whilst death is more the ferryman.
There is actually an explanation for Necron vs Death of the Endless actually exists. It is in a really neat Brightest Day tie in called "Superman: the Black Ring" it kinda helps set up the idea of Lex Luthor as a hero

I have a question.
It's pretty well known that Geoff Johns' GL run was, for the most part, left intact after the start of the New 52, including the Blackest Night. It's even referenced in one of the New 52 GL story arcs. We are told that the Anti-Monitor plays an important role in Black Night. My question is, why don't the heroes remember that they've dealt with the Anti-Monitor before during Darkseid War?

I feel like its more similar to how Sandman Overture explains the different aspects of Dream of the Endless, where all the different aspects consider themselves one being, but different points of views of it, but ultimately they are all one entity operating in different realities.
