Hi Rob. Great channel. I listen to what you are showing almost everyday. And for the past 3 days.
I have a question. Do green lantern corp members have superhero powers. Other than what the ring give as abilities.
Because there are instances that lobo had beaten the red corp members. And the other day you mention hal jordan as prelax beat superman.
And hope to see more runs as the blackest night entire arc/story.
Some do, yes. If they had superpowers before the ring, they have them once they get them. Like we saw back with Sodam Yat, who had superman like powers under the exposure to the energy of a yellow sun thanks to his Daxamite heritage which was descended from Kryptonians. The rings themselves still count as superpowers, but they don't stop someone from having their own innate superpowers.

Wait! hold up, here. at 10:15 you refer to someone known as "the presence"? is this Dc's equivalent to Marvel's One above all? Rob is there more information you can breakdown about "the presence"?
As I was listening to this video, I got to thinking about a "What If" scenario and was wondering what your thoughts on it would be. What if Jason Voorhees got a Red Lantern ring, Freddy Krueger got a Yellow Lantern ring, and Dr. Hannibal Lecter got a Green Lantern ring? Jason would get a Red Lantern ring because he has been overcome with anger due to the death of his mother. Freddy would get a Yellow Lantern ring because he's able to instill great fear into others, either in their dreams or when they are awake. Hannibal would get a Green Lantern ring because of his composure and self-control, even in the most trying of circumstances.

Really cool Story about Alan Scott, impressive showing of power. Great for a possible Beyond Omega Level. Easily the most powerful Lantern.

Most powerful lantern is Kyle ranner white lantern
Alan has one shooted both Kyle and Hal, he’s also shut off Power Rings.
Aside from being able to channel other emotional spectrums (which literally means nothing to Alan), the white Lantern Ring hasn’t done anything that the Starheart hasn’t.
Alan has better feats than Kyle while he’s the White Lantern. I’m not saying he’d flat out defeat White Lantern Kyle but Kyle isn’t going to defeat Alan either considering Alan’s ring doesn’t need to recharge.

Would you say nekron was unable to be battled by all the emotional energies he had been absorbing because of sheer power, or because of the nature of his being? Death not being killable, emptiness not being erasable, or some such thing? Or is it a case like a super villian of just sheer toughness and power like so many others?
