I don’t even have kids, but I find I benefit from yall so much! I have nieces and nephews (bio and friends kids who are mine) and it helps me understand my sister and friends and how to help them more!! Love yall!
I pray I find a village like this someday. Doing it day in and day out all alone is so hard. Thank you for making this podcast. It helps me more then I could ever put into words.
I was first-time, wfh, stay-at-home mom during COVID and I had help, it was HARD. I even had a job where I had to go in, take my child to daycare. Again, still hard. Now, I am a full-time stay-at-home with a child on the spectrum. It is still hard and very isolating.
I have had my girlfriends get mad at me for telling them not to kiss their grandbabies. They literally got mad at me. I agree with you ladies 100% that is your babies not the grandparents babies.
Totally agree with all of your perspectives on that video as someone who has 5 children at home of all different ages i have done both and had mom guilt for both ! No matter what being a parent period is a struggle
As a wfh mom of all school age kids it’s hard! My kids think I need to get a job, everyone thinks I’m their babysitter during school breaks and I’m expected to keep up housework. I have 45 min between clocking out and pickup to myself.
As the Grandma I didn't kiss my grandbaby for that exact reason. I love her more than a kiss to not get her sick. I had the flu and tdap shot before she was born to do what I could to keep her safe!!
12:49 I had to have an emergency c section in May 2020 and was afraid to kiss my own baby. The nurse kept pushing him in my face, and all I could think was trying not to kill my newborn with Covid.
i’ve been a working mom in the military & deployed to one, i’ve been a sahm to two, and am currently a sahm and full time nursing student to three, it is ALL hard 🩵

Aren't yall so blessed! I have to always clean my house myself and do most things myself!
I would love to be the Grandma/Mom who could come over and help me often. You both are doing great. ❤

I love listening to you all. I have six kids and you all have helped me so much in my motherhood journey.

I sleep so much better during naps than at night. Naps are the best sleep for me

My 6 month old doesn’t nap longer than 30-40 minutes 😅 and I work from home. By myself. With no help. And not a lot of flexibility. She’s so lucky!
20:56 yesssss. So much guilt utilizing daycare 😭😭

In ky I grew up with spanking in school. Paddles, inch or so thick, some with holes, some you autographed after😂

According to my 4 year old mama take a belly breath if you’re upset.
I’m an angry napper. Lol I wake up cranky 😂
