Man, the Orpheus character is just made so much more compelling by this unison singing. I love that the greatest musician of all time has such a beautiful voice that one regular person's isn't enough to portray it onstage. Beautiful rendition.

Something I noticed when transcribing this melody: Euridice uses a minor third when she asks Orpheus these hard questions about the wedding. When Orpheus responds he swaps in a major third which gives the feeling of optimism in his response. Orpheus only does this once each verse, then switches back to the minor third. I like to think he switches back because he's a good musician and knows how to stay funky with the groove of this awesome song.
