Werder Bremen produced an incredible display in their final home game against 1. FC Köln. Bremen were two points behind Fortuna Düsseldorf in the play-off spot. Only a win for Bremen could keep their hopes of staying up alive. Ideally, Werder needed to win by a large margin. A draw for Düsseldorf and a win for Werder would put the two clubs level on points. Goal difference would then be decisive and Bremen were four goals worse off before the game. Werder certainly put on a show - with Yuya Osako on fire, they brushed Köln aside with a 6-1 victory. As Düsseldorf lost 3-0 at Union Berlin at the same time, Bremen go into the Bundesliga play-offs after a brilliant display. Enjoy the Werder show with all seven goals. I’m Japanese fan and really proud of Yuya Osako. I think he doesn’t fit for a while but I’m happy that his great performance came back at the last moment. I’m looking forward to the game against Heidenheim and I’m sure he can keep this quality for that one. And I hope He will get better next season in Bremen and score more than 10 goals for the first time in Bundesliga.
