Red is a great band! I've been listening to them since I was pretty young.

I've been looking forward to this reaction ever since I requested it so thanks. This song (which is one of my all time favorites from Red) comes from Red's second album Innocence & Instinct, where it's the second song. The other song you're referring to is The War We Made from their seventh album Declaration (2020). where it's track 4.
    Fun facts:
The drummer (Joe Rickard) was actually the touring drummer and not an official member when the album came out in 09, though he later became one later that year (he left in 14).
Red performed this song live at the 41st GMA Dove Awards in 2010 with special guest Brian "Head" Welch (former lead guitarist of Korn at the time & actually where I first heard of him). Link to performance: ruclips.net/video/2vG2u3hIoEQ/видео.html
As for the MV the black cloaked man (4:50) was played by Michael Barnes' twin brother, which ties into the meaning: "The song is really a regretful introspective moment, where you realize that your own actions have led you down a path you never wanted to take,” says guitarist Anthony Armstrong. “You are the one who keeps tearing yourself down in some kind of vicious cycle that never seems to end.” In other words the you the song refers to is actually you yourself.

Red is great and seems to me you should listen to more of there recent music. The song you liked was The War We Made which was on their most recent album. The other two you’ve done are from pretty early in Red’s career. Which is why you can here a significant difference in the quality of lead singer Michael Barnes vocal performance.

Hay catching up on all the Red reactions. I'm one of the few Red Fans that did not enjoy _Innocence & Instinct_ quite as much. It's got decent tracks, but still not the Red as they are now, mostly, starting with _Until We Have Faces_ My favorite track on this album is _Shadows_

Love your reactions, and I love Red. Can't wait to see more content! Also, may I make a request? I would love to see you react to the band Skarlett Riot. Specifically their song, "Underwater." I think you'd like it. They have a lot of amazing tracks, but that one in particular is a (personal) gem.

I've never heard of this band prior to this reaction video. Very interesting. Better than I expected. Agreed that nothing here is amazing or outstanding.

This is a solid song but there's definitely better songs on the Innocence & Instinct album than this one. I own the deluxe edition of that album and one of the bonus tracks, Forever, is one of the best songs on the entire album imo.

Their best work comes off their album Of Beauty And Rage. That album is a masterpiece. Not a single skip for me. This was not the best place to start with their music. This album was pretty underwhelming compared to what they usually release.

Love me some Red, but if I'm being honest, I'd probably skip over this song as there are many better ones in their catalogue. It's not a bad song at all, but I have a playlist with 25 songs from them on it and this isn't one of them.
