Shannen Doherty was the star of that show for a reason. Not because she was a spicy personnality and very problematic sometimes but because she was very talented and you can"t be neutral with her. You hate her or you like her but even if you hate her, you can't deny she had something special and she was talented and passionate. I really wish she could came back for at least one final season of Charmed.

Plus, with Shannen's passing and the reporting surrounding it, it would be very hard for anyone familiar with the show who followed the news not to know about it as it came up quite a bit in the coverage.
I really understand what Prue is going through in the 2nd episode. I recently lost my Mom around 6 months ago in February and I’m still having trouble accepting it. Seeing Prue accept it but also still having trouble understanding death is so relatable. For me it’s not grieve and move on, it’s grieve and move forward, you can never fully move on from a loved one, just move forward and do your best to live your life because that’s what your loved one would’ve wanted for you. Prue is still upset that death took her mom so early on in her life and she never really got over it fully. I understand her pain, I wasn’t ready and still ain’t ready to live the rest of my life without my Mom, the woman who brought me into this world. It feels weird living in a world that she’s no longer apart of, it’s like your tether to the world has been severed and you’re lost. You are forced to create a new tether that doesn’t have a vital piece that your original one did. The new tether represents what’s next and that life will be completely different from now on. You can accept that death is inevitable but you won’t ever fully understand why and when it happens. You just have to do your best to deal with whatever comes next.
As the oldest sibling, by 10 years, and only girl, I can confirm, (with my situation) I was expected to put my life, wants, and needs on hold for the betterment of my little brothers. It’s confusing, because you’re basically taught that it’s normal, and then you realize that you are allowed to have your own life, even when that doesn’t coincide with everyone else. But it is part of who I am now, and it’s still my knee jerk reaction to appease others, and I’m still learning to balance the two. (And I did go a little too hard into my freedom right out of college, because I had never really known it) lol
a youtuber recently reframed the prue plot to me in the sense that not only she was put in the role of the parent as a young kid, but she didn't put herself in that role, she was too young to fully make that choice herself and was more likely raised and encouraged by her grandmother to become an adult way too soon
a parentified older sister, it's extremely common, mostly with daughters. Almost all of my friends that are older sisters or the older girl have suffered this and it's something they end up carrying way long to adulthood. I think it was greatly done in this series. Even in the way the sisterhood changes dynamics and the younger one has a mother and not a sister, and the older sister in this role can't talk to her sister as equals, as sisters, because of that distance of the roles. This series was awesome and put on the table so many many things!!
Oh I was waiting for the wedding episode, I knew you would cry your eyes out. One of the most emotional scenes in the entire series is that whole scene with Patty and sisters, never fails to make me cry. Awesome reaction as always❤
Simon Templeman is one of my ABSOLUTE favorite portrayals of death in fiction. Such a short time on this show, yet unforgettable for me even after all these years.
Tbh I am not sure about how I feel about Prue having such a big role in Piper's wedding episode. I think that they could have come with a plot around Piper/Leo which would result after the conflct to this beautiful wedding scene. Prue had already too many main plots in this season. Episode 16 hits harder after the latests news :( It was already a strong episode for the season and now you just cant avoid the obvious connection with Shannen. I cant wait for the upcoming episodes reactions!
3x15 We finally got Piper/Leo wedding, we waited so long dor this. Leo's comedy timing was spot on when Cole entered the basement. Also this is not the first time when they mentioned that Phoebe had powers from the womb. 3x16 The creators of the show did something that was clearly not planned, and that's why this episode is truly iconic
As someone who's lost my mother very young too, it took me a long time to understand this episode. Im glad u guys were understanding too😢 i was stuck for an extremely long time in my grief and to move on so i understand the ending 😔

3x15 and the wild west episode are why I've ship Cole and Prue. Cole is the passionate partner Prue needed to tap into her own personal drives in life. I'm generally not a massive Prue fan mainly because I think she wasn't utilised properly in the show. She has about 3 episodes before 3x15 where she acts like a real person all the other times are stereotypes (big boss lady or overbearing sister) and that is really a waste of Prue's potential. I don't really blame astral Prue for ruining the wedding but her crazy motorcycle lover was an absolute twat for just bursting into someone's house like that, absolutely insane 😂 3x16 is my absolute favourite! I love stories with neutral Death characters! Death is terrifying but it isn't a malevolent force and this episode captures that perfectly. Simon Templeman (Angel of Death) was made for this episode!
Episode 15 the best moment is whole family together❤ Interesting that here also was Paige from the future with Phoebe visiting Piper's wedding,so Piper is really the heart of family and connected the whole family,she would really be some water horoscope sign pisces or cancer❤ Episode 16 what to say Shannen is the greatest actress of America,the real queen that deserves Oscar,this episode is absolutely the best of season 3👑 I was frightened as child from Angel of Death and I was fascinated,this is why Charmed will be the best American series this is golden era of TV series.I want to see something like this masterpiece but there is no better series.I think this episode is personall for Shannen and for me so emotional.Like a sign not only for dying of Prue also for Shannen dying so young so tragical person😢 I hope there is some another life where she will live forever where she stays in this best series to the end not dying. If there's no something like this it would be horrible sad.But I believe this is possible at least this is magical series❤

Or a full on Thursday with a full on friday. The only complaint I have about season 3 is it is so Prue focused. She’s in nearly every scene, has the most lines, and gets the best lines. To me it would have made more sense for Phoebe to see Death because the cop was after Cole… She even ruined Piper and Leo’s wedding! lol I love Shannon/Prue but I could see a little why Alyssa might have been jealous. With that being said though, some of the episodes coming up are some of the best of the series.

This episode really is the hint that no one knew at the time. Prue learned to b okay with death. Amazing acting by everyone especially Shannen.
