  • Hello, this is my story on my molar pregnancy that I was diagnosed with in January 2018.
I am currently going through chemo and will be doing chemo diaries very soon! Please share this video as much as possible to raise awareness of gestational trophoblastic disease, this is such a rare condition that people should know the signs symptoms and risks.
If anyone is also going through this and wants a chat do not hesitate to contact me.

Hi, I am going through exactly the same as yourself the only difference is mine was a twin molar pregnancy so we miscarried one baby at 7 weeks then had a DNC at 13 weeks to terminate the other baby due to the molar. We were due in August as well and I am currently undergoing my 2nd cycle of Chemotherapy which is the injection form like yourself.
Your video is so inspiring to everyone out there thinking they are on their own and has nobody to talk too.
Molar pregnancies are so rare that I agree more needs to be talked about on social media to raise awareness for couples going through this trauma!

Hi ladies, I'm also going through the exact same thing. I'm currently going through my second cycle of chemo and lying in bed at 3am looking for more information on this, when I came across this video. I'm so grateful to you for sharing your story. I pray we all get the beautiful family we dreamed of. ❤️❤️

Wow, I’d never heard of molar pregnancies, or that they could cause cancer. As it’s a long time after you posting this video you may already have begun your family. Thank you for educating us, I’m sorry you had to go through a private hospital to get your treatment.

My daughter had a molar pregnancy recently. She had an Edward’s syndrome baby a couple of years ago and had to have it terminated. So the molar pregnancy could be from the termination. However, she went through the same situation not knowing what it was and no one was telling her. She picked up a leaflet at the clinic and read about it and questioned the nurses at the clinic but still no straight answer. She had her procedure to remove it and had a test and scan and chest X-ray and so far all is good but she now has to be monitored for 6 months to check it doesn’t come back. Thank you for sharing your very unfortunate story and I hope you will pull through good and strong. My daughter is 46 years old.

Hi, I am so sorry that you're going through this horror... 25 years after my own molar pregnancy, the memories are still as fresh, and I know I'll never forget it. I so wanted to be able to speak to someone else going through it but back then all I could find was a few references in old library books (which were awful). I'm glad that if you *have* to go through this then at least you have this platform to hopefully get support. My heart goes out to you, and I will pray for you. 💔

I had my molar pregnancy 48 years ago - you can imagine how little knowledge we had then. I was never told of the possibility of cancer and an shocked by what I am hearing and reading here. Good luck to you all.

I hear your heart. First off, your precious baby is in heaven. He or she is experiencing the presence of God like never before… I know it’s hard to think that maybe your baby is memorialize by disease, but your baby is not a disease. Your baby is a blessing And continues to be. I just want to encourage you, don’t give up! I know this was taken a year ago… I don’t know if you and your husband have tried again, but it’s worth trying ”again” despite the risks. We don’t know why things happen or why we’re chosen to go through certain battles - and all of our stories are different. But no matter what happens, we have to have a conquering spirit, a winning attitude, and that’s like that in life in general. You got this! This battle is not too hard.

How can you best support someone who has been diagnosed with molar pregnancy? What is your advice. My sister currently has 3 kids and just found out today she is going through a molar pregnancy. I offer to take her child to school.
