It's rare that you guys just say nothing for 30 seconds during a review and let the scenery do all the work in telling the story - this place must have really left an impression on you! It looks beautiful. Thanks as always for the informative & enjoyable reviews
This is brilliant. Absolutely adding this to my bucket list New Zealand/Australia trip. Would love if they offered overnight stays here in the future, as unlikely as that would ever be. Great coverage by you guys 👏
ReviewTyme in NZ! Thanks for saying nice things about us. I hope you visited Weta Unleashed while you were down here - I loved that experience (I left genuinely inspired) and it has the best animatronics in the country
I did this in 202o in January, just before the world shut down. It is amazing how well done it is. The interior might just make it worth returning. For anybody traveling there you can also book a tour that busses you Rotorua that takes about half a day in total.
This is amazing, but much like that Miyazaki theme park it can only maintain as long as the customers are respectful. I've seen enough stroller fights at Disney parks to know what can happen. Hopefully this is a different clientele that should be absent of such issues.
I'm guessing the under 10 free rule might be because they don't expect younger families to show up. There's Rainbows End and a carrot park that would better appeal to those groups
People from Universal Destinations and Experiences have likely visited this already to get inspiration for a probable phase 2 expansion at Epic Universe😅
At $120 per person it’s way too expensive for what it is. It’s not a theme park, it’s literally just walking through a recreation of a movie set for two hours.
Its true its quite expensive. But the sheer beauty and being able to leave the normal world makes it worth it. I have seen grown man with teary eyes when they saw it. The detailing is really special. In every other theme park most of the decoration is cheap, behind glas or behind a fence. Here you can touch it. Hobbiton in comparison looks so real you would think a Hobbit is coming around the corner every moment.

Love that Reviewtyme covered this experience and so awesome you got to enjoy the brand new walk through hobbit hole! Major bucket list item for me.
Loved this channel for a long time and as a proud kiwi it’s so amazing to see this incredible review
Thanks for sharing this! I went to Hobbiton in December for their Christmas banquet and it was a dream come true.
I just visited again for a second time about 3 weeks ago. The new walkthrough addition is awesome.

Take my $!!! I've always wanted to go here. Definitely on my bucket list!
LotR is the load bearing pillar of New Zealand tourism

It's in the middle of nowhere? Like ...middle earth?
