Shooting with a toy camera | Expired Kodak Gold 200

This camera had been sitting in my room at my parent’s house for AGES. I don’t know when I got it or who got it for me. I don’t know if I ever shot it before now. I also tried to give it to my friend that’s never shot film before and he tried but couldn’t figure it out. We both thought it was broken…
…but I couldn’t let it go down like that.
It is interesting how this camera loads though. It loaded from right to left as opposed to left to right like I’m used to. I do like the lens cover on it and that classic winding sound it makes when you advance it. The drawback is the flash. It took like 10 seconds after you activate it for the light to come on for you to be ready to take it. That sucked! Also the camera is low key a rangefinder and I didn’t realize it until halfway through the roll. Glad I never covered the lens on accident during a shot.
I’m really surprised this camera worked.
That was also the last roll of expired Kodak gold :/.
Well. It was fun. Now I’m on to grown up matters. I’m restoring a camera. 😱 That video will be next and who knows when that’ll drop. Be on the lookout I guess!
