Why not using shape bender it's much easier than flowify in this case ! Thanks for the tutorial keep up the good work:)
i agreed with you, but it can be done even more quickly with Truebend (in this case) checkout this video : ruclips.net/video/r2TzliIu3Nw/видео.html
i was also decide to do this with Shape bender but Sketchup 19.0 was not compatible with Shape bender. fortunately now Sketchup 19.2 is compatible with Shape bender maybe i record the video with shapebender too..

What key while double click another group get auto hide? (Sorry my english so bad)
From here you can enable or disable this option. Top Menu bar > View > Component Edit > Hide Rest of Model
