Me! Got to ride one of the original boosted boards when I worked the TED Conference years back. Super fun and the founders are super nice guys. Couldn't help but notice you threw the manual back in the box ;) who needs instructions, right.

Have you tried loosening the trucks so you don't have to tick tack around the turns? Can you adjust the trucks on a boosted? Looks super fun either way!
I am trying to decide which to get myself, the Mini Boosted or the OneWheel. I live in the burbs and would only be using them to ride around the neighborhood or park. I saw a dude the other day on a OneWheel and I was super jealous. Loved your video!

so you say you're not sure if you should be comparing the boosted boards to the onewheel... but for a person who isn't too familiar with either... why would someone get one over the other? which is more fun? which is more useful?

You can get a OneWheel XR that has a 12-18+ mile range. I'm 220 lbs, 33 years old, and have basically zero board sports experience, and I've hit 22.6 mph on my XR 😁 It's all about understanding push back, and paying attention to battery life. I absolutely love my OneWheel, it is an absolute blast to ride and feels like an extension of my body.

The mini has the trucks top mounted while the V2s has drop through mounted trucks. That’s why the mini is more responsible to sudden direction changes.

For me, the biggest advantage of the mini s, you can actually have it with you on your flights because of the small battery

The boosted is too big and I wanted a smaller version. But I thought that it would have enough battery to keep up with the larger one since it's the same weight. Expected a larger battery.

I raced a 140lb kid on a slight uphill road with one of these "mini's "with my Tesla powered meepo and I weigh 200 lbs and completely rode away and had to wait for him .

I'd say the One Wheel is in its own category and is not considered a skateboard. Aside from that, some really usable information in this review so thank you!
OneWheel owns!! You can't go over curbs, rocks, logs, on a Boosted. With a OneWheel, you are pretty much bound to your imagination.

My wife and i actually just drove from Ohio to Vail, Colorado so that we could compete at Race For The Rail during the GoPro Mountain Games. Riding the OneWheel has taken me to places i never thought i would have gone, and i'm meeting so many awesome people.

You can get around corners better if you losen the nut on the kingpin of your boosted board for a couple of turns! It should make it more manouverable.

I’m so curious about these. Here’s my question....WAY back in the day, I used to have a regular skateboard and if I was riding down the sidewalk and one of my wheels came upon a pebble, the board would stop instantly and I’d go flying off. Does that not happen with these? LOL... I always cringe when I see you riding, just waiting for that dastardly pebble to show up and stop your board instantly and you go cartwheeling down the sidewalk. 🤸♂️

You should loosen really your trucks on the v2 buddy. Then you won’t have those issues taking corners.
