@@I_am_Monty II've been riding my M1000xr for 2 months now, covering 2500 km, and I must say, I really adore the bike. However, I can't help but notice several aspects that could be improved. While it's a fantastic bike, I don't think it lives up to the M power standard. In comparison to my previous bike, the S1000rr, it falls short in terms of power, with a noticeable 60 HP deficit according to BMW's mapping on the bike. Additionally, the torque in gears 2 through 5 doesn't quite match up to what I expected. I feel like I ended up paying extra for the aesthetics alone. Just being honest here, mine comes with the competition package. also for the extra cash i have paid i missed the GPS mount for the cradle or navegation system also i have lost the center stand which both comes with the normal M1000XR white bike …. BMW must work on that power is a major issue since it is an M then it should act like an M power it is less power as i have mentioned than the S1000RR and much less than the M1000R i wish that i could be more happy about it but it is under my expectation after all since i have let the S1000RR M package bike and GSA 1250 go replaced with the M1000XR
@mazenbira1776 oh no, doesn't sound good at all but thanks for the update and hopefully it will help someone wanting to purchase one! I do still think the s1000rr is a great bike price and looks, I think it combines it well.
Hi from the UK, another fantastic creation from BMW, video was to the point and visually complimented by your partner riding the S1000RR, you get a contrast of how the two bikes differ even though they share the same engine, ride safe.
@ragemachine4991 thanks for your comment. Yes it was good to have had the chance to test the two bikes concurrently. To me, it was surprising how capable the MXR is despite the weight and size. And of course, extremely fast!
Am replacing my both GSA1250 and S1000RR MPKG with M1000XR hope its the right design
