@gabbchangc mine was also a 2019 too. You will need to buy bimmercode the app and a obd usb connector. The bimmercode page has all the information.

You have 4 options from the factory or just 3 same as mine then you code the sporty out?

@gabbchangc oh I had the m135i a few years ago. I think there were only 3 options. So by coding in Sporty as the 4th option.

@ejrgpjgp in Australia market we only have primary and secondary cats, and no opf (at least on my 2021) so it will be the secondary cats/opf. Instead of using an EX pipe we use the stock bmw resonator (it keeps the deep tone and removes any drone)

@ejrgpjgp yes you will like the difference. Bmw engineered the resonator well. It's a H pipe inside with perforations. When you close the values, the car is like stock.

@sviktorijoski I would go with the Euro sizing. For example I'm a 45 euro and and ordered them in 45. Dainese are a bit of a narrow fit which these ones are based on, incase you feet are wider

@@I_am_Monty sounds glorious! I did a tune through mission performance. I got about 44k miles on mine and have used the tune for the past 23k miles. LOVE IT. 630 to the wheels but I HATE that I’m already on my second set of tires. Is there a square set up you recommend running? I want to be able to rotate my tires every now and then to save some cash hahaha

@ragemachine4991 thanks for your comment. Yes it was good to have had the chance to test the two bikes concurrently. To me, it was surprising how capable the MXR is despite the weight and size. And of course, extremely fast!

​@@I_am_Monty II've been riding my M1000xr for 2 months now, covering 2500 km, and I must say, I really adore the bike. However, I can't help but notice several aspects that could be improved. While it's a fantastic bike, I don't think it lives up to the M power standard. In comparison to my previous bike, the S1000rr, it falls short in terms of power, with a noticeable 60 HP deficit according to BMW's mapping on the bike. Additionally, the torque in gears 2 through 5 doesn't quite match up to what I expected. I feel like I ended up paying extra for the aesthetics alone. Just being honest here, mine comes with the competition package. also for the extra cash i have paid i missed the GPS mount for the cradle or navegation system also i have lost the center stand which both comes with the normal M1000XR white bike …. BMW must work on that power is a major issue since it is an M then it should act like an M power it is less power as i have mentioned than the S1000RR and much less than the M1000R i wish that i could be more happy about it but it is under my expectation after all since i have let the S1000RR M package bike and GSA 1250 go replaced with the M1000XR

@mazenbira1776 oh no, doesn't sound good at all but thanks for the update and hopefully it will help someone wanting to purchase one! I do still think the s1000rr is a great bike price and looks, I think it combines it well.

Yes pretty much. The mode selection settings are connected to the exhaust valve. There is an exhaust button but it doesn't do much when the car is in comfort/efficient.
