I think the white looks better and will really pop once the car is painted white. The yellow candy really gives it a gold plate look vs just gold with the rustoleum. Nice work James!

2k doesn't mean it'll be shinier, but it does generally mean it's more resistant to solvents. Always follow the safety instructions, 2k can be no joke.
Yes I know I have done videos explaining all of this. The 2K clear has a more glossy finish than this 1K stuff I have compared other clears to 2K but your right it don’t determine the glossy finish but does determine hardness and it cuts and buffs easier.

Awesome how to. I mixed a color years ago I liked. Looked black but when light hit it just right it was a deep black cherry color. Haven't been able get the combo right again now lol. Keep the pearl white on there
If you're going with the white for the car, I'd go with the gold in the engine bay with the white accents...just my opinion. Keep the Faith and never look back. I always say that the negative comments are one's that wish they could do what you're doing 🙏
Yea I agree 100% the car going white so bay stays gold with white valve cover but that’s just how I think. The ones who hate just have some area in their lives that need some attention. Maybe they didn’t have a good day or don’t have a Godly life and need peace but the only one who can provide peace that surpasses all understanding is Jesus. I pray that Jesus brings them the peace.

Your videos are really informative and tutorial......I am planning to spray my wheels soon, gonna be using the Rustoleum Turbo spray, but I got to question, do I really need to use a primer on it before the color? I got to sand the face, got rashes on every face. So can you give me a little advice?
Not everything needs a primer to be honest but I wouldn’t use turbo paint for wheels cause that stuff comes out fast and aggressive and runs are very easy with it I would just use the taller cans of rust oleum but not the turbo and I would use it by itself just scuffed wheels really good clean them and it will it here if you want to use a primer it’s just going to help the adhesion
@@JamesDguy ok thanks man. I will use the Turbo on the car itself, got a few of the body parts black already, used a different brand and it didn't hold up as long as I thought, so the Turbo should do the job better

I don’t want to go blue and don’t know if you seen how bad the blue is. It’s not something I can touch up it needs 100% sanded down and redone. Plus i don’t like rolling around with someone else’s look if that makes sense. I make it 100% my own and different lol
Question..should I remove orange peel on my base coat before adding clear or should I leave it, spray the clear and then wetsand etc to remove orange peel?
So I recently painted my car with rostoleum cans and 2k clear coat on Monday the 18th but it didn’t come out as good and came out streaky I believe I didn’t spray a good even coat with the 2k clear coat plus I ran out but I ordered more which will be delivered tomorrow my question is, would I have to sand the whole car again or can I spray the clear coat over?
2K not 2X right? Did you activate the hardener on the bottom prior to painting the clear coat? Refer to my other videos if you didn’t see them on 2K clear. It HAS to be activated also you could wet sand the car with 1000 grit till smooth then re clear it.

Bro!!!!! I like that gold lol and I'd go with the gold I think the black supercharger "label" would look slick on there maybe paint the silver letters gold......... think with the white touches/silver supercharger it wouldn't be over powered by a gold valve cover

@@King_JDS I’m not into electric because it’s not actually Good for the environment and actually taxes our electrical grid and the price of electricity will go up if everyone drives electric sure it sounds good on paper but in all reality electric vehicles are not where it’s at hybrids on the other hand are a different story all together. The problem is it’s actually really bad for the environment to have electric cars if you look into it and do some research you’d be blown away at how much damage is done to the environment using electric vehicles not emissions or anything but the actual earth itself but either way To each their own I’m sure there’s a way to convert it to all electric but I’m not gonna find out

Depends what it’s on. If it’s windows I use soapy water and razor blade or soapy water and steel wool #0000. If it’s on rubber stuff use mineral spirits. Acetone or brake cleaner on a rag for other things like metal and such.
Im not good at titles lol but I chose the one there because it’s a custom gold color combining to paints making it a gold paint that is made. Plus click bait helps get people to click it. Either way I’m open to other titles lol

I always use that yellow metalcast paint to do peoples headlights and foglights yellow. its works great and comes out amazing.
Yup same here been doing it for 13yrs for fog lights and headlights. I actually have videos a few years back of me doing it here on this channel.

If it’s metallic you leave it but if it’s not metallic definitely wet sand for the smoothest finish
