I just started learning ASL in June and I've grown to absolutely love and respect it! I love your videos, and I can't wait to teach my baby girl sign as well. I hope I can one day put what I've learned to good use ! :)
Good news! I've got a number of "classifiers" videos in the pipeline -- covering quite a few different classifiers. In case you haven't seen it yet, here is the official ASLU RUclips master playlist: ruclips.net/p/PL6akqFwEeSpiLwRFA3ZvuOWMwPXwI7NqA
Hi Dr. Bill! What is the meaning of 'backup'? is it backup as in "extra" or backup as in "provide proof to solidify a statement" or something? I checked LP& only saw the version with the index fingers moving back towards the body. Thanks!
Backup as in have a backup plan. (If you are referring to the sign that has one "A" hand behind the other "A' hand.) If you want to backup your statement then use a sign like "support."
I was born with hearing loss and it's getting worse and this is the best way I've found to learn ASL. From the bottom of my heart thank you very much
You are welcome.

I can't believe I never noticed before that "WITH", "CHASE", and "GAME" all use the same underlying structure! That's awesome!
