I would probably never wear blue eyeshadow but I have to admit that that blue eyeshadow makes your brown eyes pop!
I have the denim daze palette. I like it too. I like the blues in the palette. I like mixing the neutrals with the blues.

So true, but it's only a nightmare to blend outwards, for me T_T maybe i should use a transition colour on the outer part? I'm not satisfied
@@laexe2 I try to pat the color in place and not blend too much. Some blue eyeshadow formulas are better than others.

I have to agree that the Dominique Cosmetics Essential palette is one of my favorites too! I really enjoy her formula and think her brand is under-rated. Her concealer and powder are excellent as well.

I didn't like my Glossier trio either! I got 'Mist' and it was underwhelming. I gave it to my sister in law since she likes softer eyeshadows 😃

I own ZERO Urban Decay pallets….
My reasoning is ridiculous because I could be missing out on something great ..
I have a problem with the rectangular pans … I know it’s silly but I find them annoying… I had a pallet years and years ago it was from the drugstore. Don’t remember much about it except it was a neutral pallet and it had a beautiful Matte Ivory that I used all the time…
What happened is the center of the rectangle was down to pan and now I had to shove my brushes up in the corners and up and down the sides to try and pick up product ….. it was time consuming and annoying. I ended up throwing it away with probably quite a bit of that ivory shadow left over, but it was too difficult to get on my brush because it was so skinny up against all four size….
Since then, I don’t give a second glance at rectangular shaped pallets ..
I know it’s ridiculous and I’m embarrassed to admit it… But we are amongst friends here ❤️
Actually you have a perfect reason because you USE your eyeshadows and I so admire this! I'm more a collector so I know I will never have pan problems... and this is a lot more embarrassing 😅

I've hit pan on maybe 3 shadows, so I don't 100% relate, but I agree with that the long skinny rectangular pans are ugly and not as user friendly!

I agree with you in the glossier. I tried two of the palettes and did not like them at all. There was very little payoff. I was just underwhelmed and sadly returned them.
I’m probably going to pick up the DC palette.
I would love you to try Mellow Cosmetics quads. I’m finding I’m wearing them ALOT, which I didn’t expect, and I’m normally a Tilbury/McGrath/Denona gal, so you might find them worthwhile to try.

I have noticed in my area of California that people don’t wear eyeshadow much anymore. And if they do its matte. Anyone else notice this?

I love the dark tones in that Nomad palette, if it was my ranking I would have definitely put in on top of the too Faced palettes, but I didn’t buy it cause I do have most of those multichromes and the mattes as well in my collection. For me, the quality matters more than the color story, I only discriminate greys and oranges/reds 😅

Thanks for the ranking. Even though eyeshadow isn’t technically trending, it is still one of my favorite parts of my makeup routine. It feeds my creative side of my personality. With eyes being the focus during the pandemic, with our eyes only showing with masks, it doesn’t surprise me that the face is now the focus. Most of us are simply happy to show our faces. Companies are too happy to sell consumers a wide variety of face products. The possibilities are endless.
I have to, respectfully, disagree: eyeshadow palettes are the only beauty product I own multiples of, and actually buy about 1 per month. Yet, I only own one foundation, one concealer, etc. And these last me for many months. So, actually, I really love watching any video about palettes. Rankings are my favorite. Please do not stop making them.
The Urban Decay Mucho 😁 that you did that pretty Easter look..reminds me of the Too-faced Italian spritz.. the same color story for less money.
Even though you get a lot more shade in Italian spritz, those little UD pallets are a lil pricey at $33 for 6 shades. Considering the Italian Spritz is what? $40 something🤔

I bought the Glossier palette in Jute and it’s just too light to show up. In the trash it goes.
The astral blitz in the pat quad is not dupable in her line. She doesn’t have an astral blitz of that tone. You can tell I’m really attached to that astral blitz 😂 still waiting for the quad to get in the mail…

There could be, and probably is, the absolute perfect palette for me, but if the packaging is cardboard and juvenile like, it’s a hard no. I just can’t get past ugly packaging.

I enjoyed seeing all of these palettes, however many of these reviews are just too wishy washy to be meaningful. You love or like it, but you don’t. A stronger overall opinion is what I am looking for.

Lol 40 usd for bland palettes, these brands are losing their mind. The lawless palette looks like Lime Crime, not nearly as good evidently
Pallets look ugly these days. Complexion products are definitely the items of the year.
