@robertlashley3164 Movie focuses on these points : 1. Rejection of Consumerism Tyler criticizes the obsession with material possessions, stating, "The things you own end up owning you." He sees consumer culture as a trap that distracts individuals from authentic experiences and self-discovery. 2. Embrace of Chaos and Destruction Tyler advocates for tearing down societal structures to rebuild something more authentic. He believes destruction is a necessary step for growth and renewal, as seen in his anarchistic plans to disrupt financial systems through Project Mayhem. 3. Masculinity and Identity Tyler’s philosophy promotes reclaiming a raw, primal masculinity, which he feels is suppressed in modern, comfortable society. Fight Club itself is a means to rediscover strength, resilience, and a sense of brotherhood through physical combat. 4. Liberation Through Suffering Tyler believes that freedom comes from hitting rock bottom and shedding societal expectations. Pain, chaos, and loss are seen as pathways to enlightenment, as they strip away superficial attachments. "It's only after we've lost everything that we're free to do anything." 5. Critique of Modern Work and Alienation He sees jobs and corporate culture as soul-crushing systems that force people to trade their lives for meaningless work. Tyler preaches rebellion against these systems to reclaim individuality. 6. Existential Rebellion Tyler encourages people to confront their mortality and live authentically. He views death as an inevitable part of life and urges individuals to act boldly, as time is fleeting.

It means to stop trying to escape, cope, numb or rationalize pain. Pain is a fundamental part of life and it must be fully embraced in the most organic way, without distractions, otherwise we’ll always be trapped in our lies and fears which ultimately leads to the death of our spirits.

@@OrkanOzdemir54 Yeah, this whole movie is based on Nietzschean philosophy, and I think this represents the dangers in it, rejecting morals might make you too free for your own good, which is why he advocated for you to create your own morals and not remain in this nihilistic state forever. I’m gonna be honest I have a lot of hate and resentment I am aware of at the moment I’m a little a little bit of it out with some truth to me. I’m really sick and tired of people perpetuating God loves you because he created a human better than you that sacrifice his life to save yours I don’t read the Bible, but I’m pretty sure Jesus says something in there about you can be like me too or something. I don’t know anyways look how is getting information from a book written by of being just like us a long time ago your source of truth and you’re doing what God wants you to by studying it when God talks to me, he says I’m actually upset with people like that on their high horses who just don’t go to the source inside themselves and share that wisdom they’re just regurgitating information they resonated with or too afraid to challenge. He also told me how do people assume there is something different from themselves that knows less lost it needs to be saved by someone no different than them just one example of a thought pattern they’ve been programmed with and accepted without challenging that does the exact opposite of what the intended expectation was because they’re unawarethat their perception of that reality is what created it. You don’t need to respond unless you want to it don’t matter to me. I’m absolutely certain that you don’t even understand what I’m saying that’s the problem with getting. God’s word from a secondhand source instead of going inside yourself for the truth.

@@MrKyks Okay, it makes sense, but I don’t want to judge others because there are people out there who claim to have seen God or something similar, and that’s the only thing they need in life. There are people who were so lost and on the verge of taking their own lives but then found something like God and improved themselves. That’s why I think Tyler isn’t right in this aspect, because there are so many people who have experienced positive things through God. I know this from my own social circle. Yes, there are people who believe in God but do bad things. However, for me, such people are not true believers in God; they are just using God to justify their desires and claim that it’s God’s will. Even if there are things in the Bible that I don’t understand, I cannot say that the Bible is nonsense. Of course in a more litteral sense, being convinced that God hates you would mean that he is dissappointed in you no matter how hard you work at things or how much you try to be a good person, giving someone with such a belief an easy excuse not to ever question his/her morality, purpose, or bother to grow into anything of substance during life cycle, because hey, who cares, God hates us anyway, right? I mean, if God loved us, why do we go through seemingly unjustified suffering so much?
