- RECIPE FOR OVEN BAKED FRIES
Cut one potato per person.
Idaho Russets & Yukon Gold Potatoes both work great!
Cut in half lengthwise. Cut into either thick French fries or into wedges for steak fries.
Place into a ziplock bag and drizzle with olive oil or avocado oil. (Vegetable oil or melted lard will work, too!)
Add your favorite seasoning.
LIGHTLY season with Hidden Valley Ranch Dressing or Dip powder OR Italian Dressing Seasoning or Lipton Onion Soup mix etc
OR
SALT & PEPPER
Place seasoned fries onto foil lined baking sheet.
Bake at 425-450 for 10 min for French Fries
Use spatula and flip French fries for even browning.
Bake for 15-20 minutes for Steak Fries
Reduce oven temperature to 375 and bake until tender. About 5-10 minutes for either.
Serve with Sour Cream Dip or Ketchup or your favorite dip!
