Ins & Outs of PEAR: Networking and Being in Community with Your Peers (3/4)

In October of 2023, the Washington State Office of Equity hosted the We the People Convening; free entry to all Washingtonians, this event centered on bringing Washington state employees and community members together. Held at the Tacoma Convention Center, community members and state agencies gathered to build relationship, knowledge share about their pro-equity anti-racism (PEAR) journey, and look towards the future to make the evergreen state truly equitable.
On October 25th, Katrina Tuggle, B. Hill & Rueben Otero from the Office of Equity put on a workshop for an online group of state agency employees.
This workshop will give participants a chance to actively practice conversations, teambuilding, and community engagement related to improving equity in your agency. There will be hands-on activities and small group discussions, and a chance to engage with the Pro Equity Consulting team and your state agency peers.
