    Hi Chris;
    This is 1 of the best videos I've seen in a long time that's rarely covered. We all know about the "from the ground up" lesson but nothing about how the feet are supposed to be used. This is an issue I've had for a long time without knowing it because instructors haven't noticed or don't include it in their teachings. I was allowing my hips to turn while rotating my trail foot so I was sure to be facing the target during the follow-through rather than rolling it inward & posting against my front leg. This is a true eye-opener. Thanks much for your instruction.

      Thank you for the kind words and glad you see the value in this sort of approach. Wishing you much success with your game this season. Let me know if you have any questions along the way and I’ll gladly assist you.

    Glad you said upfront how much work is involved. Sobering but reassuring since I’ve felt like there’s something wrong with me after so many instructors say “fix your swing instantly with this tip.” I try it, my swing doesn’t change and I think I must just suck. It’s reassuring to hear that a real change takes time and hard work

    Great lesson,love it! In a world of instant gratification it’s so good to see someone saying that you have to put a lot of work in to get a good result.

    What if your miss with mid irons is a pull draw. Starts at edge of green when aiming center then draws 3 yards.Not sure if that is face or path or both

      High rate of closure from a path that is slightly in to out more than likely. Without seeing it, I would suggest to be a little more patient with the release and allow the hips to move the arms deeper into the hitting area before the release fully starts.

    Dynamite. I'm going to try this everyday for the next couple of weeks rather than playing.

    3:00, 14:40 is the line left on the ground 45 degrees? It looks like 30 or less… the hips perhaps a little more…

      I kept on hitting that line with my foot moving it closer to the target line. Ideally, the left line needs to be closer 35-45 degrees. The right line doesn’t need to be as precise and can be 20-30 degrees and create enough of a dramatic change in feel.

    It’s great to have a full training lesson to build a swing. I’ve followed many great RUclips instructors including Mark Crossfield, Mike Malaska, Danny Maud and many others. The advice works for a while (a round or two) and then the good results disappear 🫥 . This video might be less entertaining but I suspect will help ingrain a good swing that lasts 🤞 .
    On the course when playing, swing thoughts are exhausting. I need swing feels. This video seems to include and echo much of the good advice I’ve watched including ‘looseness’ so strongly advocated by Paul Wilson. Time and training will tell.
