You can really tell hes shaped his style so much, based on this track. The melodic dubstep saws and growls, the drop structure, and also that "future garage" part at 2:44. You can really tell Valentin made this!

This was the first song I heard from Virtual Riot, and it was easily the best song of Monstercat 017. I must say after listening to his other works, this is still my favourite. Perfect blend of light synths and wub wub. 2:44 is easily one of my favourite parts of any EDM song, awesome job mixing this masterpiece up.

Virtual Riot was one of my top 5 favorite dubstep producers back then. Right now he's been making a lot of terror nonsense and it's muddled my opinion on his music, but seeing as he's kinda back to the melodic stuff with his Emotional remix and that WIP he posted to SoundCloud, I have hope :)

There's something called trying new stuff out m8. I do think that mixing up what he does is great, since he actually has the skill to make pretty much any EDM subgenre sound good. Heck, if it wasn't for Hackers, I wouldn't be listening to trap as often as I do nowadays. And I was surprised to find out that the original Emotional song was a Trap song.
