In fact, I think we'd be fooling ourselves if we had an audience this large and didn't realize that there were some enemies present." May Allah s.w.t bless your efforts and protect you!

The interviewer never asked why India had done border sharing agreement with Bangladesh If it had expansionist ideas although India lost major chunk of land in that agreement and that too in 2015 after Modi has come to power.
A huge eye opener. As a Pakistani I stand with our Bengali brothers. I pray the both the Pakistani and Bangladeshi governments can work together and destroy the plans of our enemies. 🙏🙏🙏

Thank you for taking the time to listen to Professor M. Shahiduzzaman, one of Bangladesh’s most esteemed and patriotic thinkers. It is essential for Bangladeshi administration to include him, alongside Dr. Mahmudur Rahman, to strengthen efforts against the challenges posed by Indian hegemony.

Yes, maybe not all the Hindus are appealing to India to come and help them. But there’re few incidents where a good number of Hindus were showing demonstrations in the border and urging the Indian govt to help them. Those people were trying and still trying to portray that kind of Hindu-Muslim riot is going on in Bangladesh whereas Muslims are guarding Hindu temples, houses to show solidarity in this transition period of Bangladesh.
@@QaziMasud49 What other Awami goons in disguise are doing in Bangladesh? Aren't they all still conspiring to bring back Hasina by hook or by crook? Everyone's duty is different. Like, the ones who live abroad are assigned to show demonstration infront of UN office and several embassy and assault govt officials (like the people who assaulted Asif Nazrul in Switzerland yesterday). Assumably, ISKON or some Hindu groups are assigned with task more suitable to their identity or position. So, please don't bring any othering based on religion in this very context.

Because of the reductionist thinking of Indian Muslims they are now divided into three countries. Will be more if Baluchistan and Sindhudesh leave Punjabis of Pakistan. That is the contribution of your great leader Jinnah to unite Indian Muslims on the basis of hatred towards Hindus. Cheers.

In 1971, when he was about to enter University, civil war broke out, my father along with his elder brother and my grand father was kidnapped by Mukti Bahini, fortunately they survived and released, but then whole family spent more than 2 years in refugee camp, after they finally came to Karachi In the Behari community of Karachi, almost every house hold has same stories. I am from Azad Kashmir and in my opinion Indians Pakistanis and Bengalis are all to blame for 1971. Pakistanis for not standing with Bengalis when they stood up for their rights against the tyrant Pakistan army. Bengalis for separatism and armed resistance through funding from India. Yes they were in the right but they were wrong in the way they went about things. Indians for taking advantage of the situation, flamed the fires of Bengali separatism in order to break Pakistan. My people were fighting India in Kashmir under the Azad Kashmir Regular Forces in 1971 and we were not at that time part of Pakistan army, I am not in favour of Kashmirs accession to Pakistan or India and I am pro-Islamic unity so I am not biased. I don’t accept the Bangladesh genocide rhetoric and a lot of the claims made by Bangladesh were blown out of proportion but there were war crimes committed in Bangladesh and the Pakistan government should formally apologise to Bangladesh in order to establish an alliance with Bangladesh, an important south Asian Muslim nation and people.
this is what you dont get. when you are seprated, you are weak. pakistan absolutely destroyed indian infantary in 1965 war. why? because 30% of the soldiers at borders were bengali, the AIR force was mainly bengali. pakistan now has no chance against india because of their numbers. if you decide to take matters in your own hands, expecting that ethnic based country will bring disparity, you are mistaken. i actually believe in afghanistan and pakistan uniting since i am a pashtun and i have realized that afghans will ever stop attacking pakistan from behind because they think they have connection to the land of pakistan. if both countries unite right now then it will bring economic opportunities instead of m1ll1tants destroying both countries. united we are strong.
@@Rockyrock511 I fully agree with you. A day will come soon when Indian-held Kashmir will have a real opportunity to either become independent or be a part of Pakistan. Kashmiris will then realize that if they don't join Pakistan, they will be gobbled up by other nations. In fact, that's how they ended up in this situation that they are in. In both 1947 and 1965 our brave Pashtun brothers went to Kashmir to liberate them, but instead of coming out to join them, Kashmiris stayed home or told Indian Army where our men were hiding.

I have no doubt in my mind that 240 million Pakistanis share Professor Shahiduz Zaman’s viewpoint. In Pakistan people never thought of it that Bangladeshi people are separate from them. Every Pakistani deeply regret about the tragic events of 1971. Had Pakistan a civilian setup instead of military rule East Pakistan remained a part of Pakistan. Our military general paved way for Indian aggression and India as our worst enemy took full advantage of our internal political crisis. Let me add an additional note that Quaid ( Jinnah) was supportive of Muslim Bengal with Assam and Kolkata but Indian leaders like Nehru and Gandhi insisted on 2 states solution. Congress leaders were afraid of subcontinent’s division into more than 2 states. Keeping in mind that Pakistan and Bangladesh both are product of Two Nation Theory. We are one nation having 2 countries. Now it is time to go for signing defence pact. Our survival depends on our unity against our common enemy. Since Pakistan has acquired nuclear weapons India never dared to challenge Pakistan. We can’t leave Bangladesh on India’s mercy. If India ever try to invade Bangladesh Pakistan’s response will be surprising for Bania.
Pakistan has very very good geographical locations had border with china, iran, central asia. For Pakistan Nuclear cooperation with Bangladesh is not for Bangladesh reason but for Pakistan as whole. Pakistan nothing to loss rather give hand to Bangladesh. European countries all depends on USA why not us. Every one helps each other why not us. Bangalis will revive for bengal saltanate or have muslims rights needs to back as for princely british States solution.
Yes but if Pak transfers nuclear technology to Bangladesh it should be on the condition that if India attack Pakistan then Bangladesh have to attack India in response. Also what happens if Pak transfers the nuclear tech but Hasina comes back into power??
If you regret 1971 why BD not given official apology for horrendous rapes and murders. What joins you is mad Islamism and hatred of Hindus; hard to admit though! BTW in Pakistan it does not matter what citizens think what gets done is decided by Armed forces
The unity is taking long time coming; from the times of Khwarjis in 656 AD. Strength comes from learning and critical thinking and not from following Religious dogmas.
What presence other than an Embassy and consulates? All imagining and brain-jacking of Islamists. BTW do you welcome US presence in St. Martin just as our Professor does? Probably what you mean by Indian presence is remaining Hindus; search your soul and have courage to say the truth.
You really must be brothers; after all several hundred thousands of pregnancies happened due to mass raping of BD women in 1971 (as contraceptives were not supplied by Pak Army). Furthermore Allah is definitely taking good care of Filisteen since last 76 years (as of other Muslims in China, Myanmar, Iran, Iraq, Lybia, Syria, Yemen, Somalia, Chechenia, Afghanistan and many other places).
Why Bangladeshis do not like India? 1. Teesta Water-Sharing Dispute: The Teesta River water-sharing agreement has been a major issue for Bangladesh, which relies on the river for irrigation and agriculture. Despite negotiations, an agreement hasn't been reached, partly due to opposition from West Bengal’s government. This unresolved issue has led to frustration in Bangladesh over India’s perceived unwillingness to compromise. 2. Border Incidents: In recent years, there have been incidents at the Bangladesh-India border involving the Indian Border Security Force (BSF). Reports of shootings and fatalities have led to public outcry in Bangladesh, with some citizens viewing these actions as excessive and violations of human rights. 3. Support for DICTATOR Sheikh Hasina: Sheikh Hasina’s stay in India has sparked controversy among Bangladeshis, who see India’s support as backing her authoritarian rule. As she seeks asylum amid rising political unrest, the current government and students are demanding her extradition, viewing her presence in India as interference in Bangladesh's domestic affairs. (Edited) 4. Trade Imbalance: Although trade has increased between the two countries, there is still a significant imbalance, with Bangladesh importing more from India than it exports. This has led to frustration among some Bangladeshis, who feel that the economic relationship benefits India disproportionately. 5. Environmental and River Dredging Concerns: The construction of dams and river dredging projects in India have raised environmental concerns in Bangladesh, particularly regarding their potential impact on shared rivers. For example, the Farakka Barrage and other river projects are seen as impacting downstream water levels and soil fertility, affecting Bangladeshi farmers and ecosystems. 6. Perceived Political Influence: Some Bangladeshis feel that India is too involved in Bangladeshi politics, particularly during elections. This perception has created concerns about Bangladesh’s political independence and has led to mixed views about India among Bangladeshis. Edit - I have never said that we dislike Indians. I said, we dislike the policy of Indian government.
While you present a nuanced Bangladesh's POV let me inform you that 1. There are millions of Bangladeshi immigrants (comprising of skilled and semi skilled workers) who are deemed to be not only partaking scarce work opportunities but as being manipulated by religious and political parties that Hindu nationalists are saying is interference in Indian polity. 2. Any economic immigration in a similarly poor country is not seen favourably. illegal border crossing (particularly related to smuggling of drugs, cattle, counterfeit currency etc.) is unfortunately tackled violently by BSF who say it is abetted by BDR. 3. Teesta waters (an increasingly scarce resource with rising population) are important for West Bengal too which has a dominantly agricultural economy. The fact that India and BD have settled land and marine border issues successfully, gives the confidence that even this can be tackled. The same goes for environmental adverse affects which will affect both India and Bangladesh. 4. While Governments have their preferences in light of extant national interests, the perceived Indian tilt towards AL may be real, and in that case a correction in Indian foreign policy is needed. But remember that the essential responsibility of choosing a right government lies largely with the citizens and not neighbors. In any case, a Hindu nationalist government of BJP will have hard time convincing a Muslim population to vote for their protege! A question comes to my mind as to why did the same students (and associated elements) not rise to fight for fair elections but instead Job quotas became their actual cause c'elebre. Or are we really attributing more of greatness to the said movement than there is? (I am saddened, though, by betrayal of Bangla masses of their own leaders like Mujib; somewhat akin to mud-slinging Gandhi and Nehru have faced recently in India). 5. I think Trade imbalance is the real solid issue on which Bangladeshis should be worried and Indian government should pay urgent attention. But you must appreciate that some of these big ticket imports from India (like that of cotton worth over 2 Bullion USD) help Bangladesh to fuel its major global RMG exports with substantial value addition (A La China method).
Alhamdu Lillah 5 Pillar is becoming more mature, bringing very good interviews and contents. This episode is wonderful and have some Ummatic formula for the Muslims.

Professor Shahiduzzaman 's interview is very balanced. It was Indian's propaganda and strategy to break Pakistan, and she succeeded in her plans with the help of Sheikh Mujeed, etc to partition our country. In 1968-71 many Bengali brothers from East Pakistan were my class fellow in Punjab University, Lahore. On fall of Dhakain 1971, I felt badly hurt and we friends parted our ways because of Indian aggression. Since then our Bengali brothers have been under perpetual slavery of Hindus. Bengladesh appears to be vassal state of India. Indian retired generals have been heard saying that India should occupy Bengladesh and make it a state/province of India. I feel very bad to listen such a filthy propaganda. Personally I feel that Prof Shahiduuzzaman has read and understood the nefarious mentality of Hindus. Mohammad Ali Jinnah, father of Pakistan, realized long ago that Muslims and Hindus were two different communities . There is nothing in common between them. Now same ideology is being reiterated by the well- versed Professor. I am happy to see such a sea change in the thought process of Bengladeshis. We Pakistanis are fully with our Bengladeshi brothers. Our nuclear arsenal is meant for treacherous Hindus/ India. We have never ever forgotten the wounds of 1971 when our eastern arm was broken by India. Pakistan will teach an unforgettable lesson to India.

This professor did not tell you how Pakistani State mis-treated Bengalis by first castigating them as puny, dirty, dark skinned uncivilized humans and then raped and killed Bengalis in run up to 1971 (purportedly thereby changing the race aka "nasal" of Bengalis). Professor simply wants you to consider just as a Muslim and unite against Hindus (irrespective of the fact that your and his ancestors were in all probability Hindus too). That is the hatemongering of Islam that has brought so much of misery to world. Religion is truly the opium of Humanity!

While building unity remains a key Ummatic objective, it is more important to first truely uphold Islam nationally within each Muslim nation. The bitter reality in today's so called Muslim world is secular-minded elites aspiring to greater power via forging unity at the behest of their sponsoring imperialist or globalists. Pakistani elites have disappointed their peoples on the question of TRUELY upholding Islam and so too have been the Bangladeshi elites, now what is the point of both of them uniting ? 😅 ❤

Bangladeshis are very introvert, resilient, clever and shrewd opportunist nation; which can do anything for her survival. They joined Pakistan in 1947 to avoid Indian annexation, then broke Pakistan through India for economic well-being and now mending ties with Pakistan for achieving nuclear capability to keep milking India, yet avoiding hegemony.

Just some more food is needed 😂
Yes but if Pak transfers nuclear technology to Bangladesh it should be on the condition that if India attack Pakistan then Bangladesh have to attack India in response. Also what happens if Pak transfers the nuclear tech but Hasina comes back into power??

Oh my Allah, give strength and unity to Muslim Ummah
The unity is taking long time coming; from the times of Khwarjis in 656 AD.
Strength comes from learning and critical thinking and not from following Religious dogmas.
Brothers can separate their homes but they still remain brothers ❤
Deepest love and respect for our Bengali brethren from 🇵🇰.
As a Bangladeshi ,i oppose India's presense in our country
What presence other than an Embassy and consulates? All imagining and brain-jacking of Islamists. BTW do you welcome US presence in St. Martin just as our Professor does? Probably what you mean by Indian presence is remaining Hindus; search your soul and have courage to say the truth.
We are brothers walhamdulillah. 🇧🇩 🇵🇰. May Allah strengthen our bond and strengthen the entire ummah. Ameen. May Allah free Filisteen. Ameen.
Absolutely loved the 1 hour of wisdom that reaches to the centuries worth depth into the past and future simultaneously.
(Edited)
While you present a nuanced Bangladesh's POV let me inform you that

I have seen the professor since childhood , but never knew he was so astute in terms of Muslim history 🤯
But he calls himself International Affairs expert.

My teacher, had only one course with him but never met anyone like him with so much intellect on international politics as him. He could foresee aftermath in many cases and used to give us real-time examples of then event. Glad that he's back in the mainstream media.

Wow !! Thank you for bringing this visionary professor . We need the ummah unity by putting behind the bitterness of 1971.
Difference are always there in Islamic history from day one.
It doesn't mean we give up efforts to unite.

Pakistanis on other hand are simple, bold, emotional but blessed nation and true Lovers of their Prophet. Being an Indian, i like Pakistanis considering them worthy enemies.
