One of my friends who is new to the Vocaloid Fandom mistook Ritsus voicebank for a Vocaloid one and I'm not surprised, their voicebank is so versatile and just amazing in general!! X3
Vocaloid is an expensive and complicated "professional" software, with many high-class studios working to make the voicebanks. UTAU is a free program on the internet with hundreds of similarly free voicebanks, and you can make your own. UTAUloids are just what UTAU voicebanks get called. Hope this helped!

Actual difference: Vocaloid is a singing program that you have to pay for (easier to make a quality sound) and Utau is a free singing program (Harder to get a realistic sound, but has an option to make your own Utau)
I don't think that it's that utau can sound more human then vocaloids... I think it's that Ritsu is the god of utau.... and the best most high quality utau I have ever heard in my life... :3
utauloids are pretty much the free/homemade versions of vocaloids. Knowing that, utauloids tend to be a little more difficult to tune compared to vocaloids, hence making them sound a little more choppy. I hope that helps :)
