Good job Papa. I’m from the U.K. and I know you guys generally cook/bake using cups as a measurement who wish to make Yorkshire (not York) puddings here is an easy recipe - 1 cup whole eggs, 1 cup whole milk whisked together then add 1 cup all purpose flour + a good pinch of salt and pepper. Whisk the flour and salt into the egg/milk mixture cover and refrigerate for a few hours (preferably overnight) if you have time and then remix the mixture. Make sure your oven is really hot (425F) and preheat the muffin tin with oil in each muffin hole. You want to hear the Yorkshire pudding mix sizzle in the hot oil. Cook for 25-28 minutes even if they look ready, hold your nerve you’ll be happy with the outcome and more importantly the taste. Merry Christmas. P.S. Susan, Yorkshire pudding (originally called dripping (tallow) pudding) is called a pudding because the word pudding is a centuries old English term which describes a solid sausage-like meal that doesn’t contain water. We cook Yorkshire pudding a baking tin along with sausages, called “toad in the hole” - yet another story I could regale you with but won’t today.
As a lady from yorkshire i just want to say you did a good job on them yorkshire puddings. better then most yorkshire people do. i myself make them cheaper and do half milk and half cold water also makes them a little more fluffly i find.
My recipe is 3 eggs, one cup flour, 1 cup milk. Beat the eggs really well, like till thick, then add half the milk and half the flour beat together add remaking flour and milk and beat. Put a staff amount of oil in 12 muffin cups. Heat the oil in the oven till really hot. Pour batter into heated oil and bake in 450 degree oven 20 minutes. I always have my eggs and milk at room temperature. Never put batter in the fridge
As always, Papa delicious I’ve made them once before they are so good thank you for always sharing. Love you and Nana you those are so special and always bring me joy have the best Christmas ever God bless❤❤

💁🏻♀️I love making yorkshire pudding...I remember it by 1:1:1 being "a cuppa cuppa cup" milk:flour:eggs (4 large eggs = 1 cup eggs) and I learned this from my Canadian friend Our Half Acre Homestead, Beverly Foley. ☝🏻Make sure your oil is so hot that the batter begins to start cooking immediately around the edges when you pour your batter and that prevents the oil from soaking into the batter making a greasy finish...you can also make 1 big yorkshire pudding by making it uncovered in a round baking dish (I use my white French countryside 1.5 qt without the glass lid).😊👍🏻
Originally from Yorkshire, York puds were eaten before main meal with gravy to fill you up so you didn’t need too huge a meal. I eat them with my main meal

Yes Papa aka Jerry that Apron goes in the wash machine
I purchased the gravy at Walmart and placed the container in the freezer for open faced turkey sandwiches in the future.

Your pan should be in the oven ❤
