ive seen person a platinum pen with make e.. worth 999 usd.. and its very beautiful.. the layers of paints looks 3 dimensional and looks stunning. how much more a pen made with this. it might not look appealing on screen since you cant see the 3d effect. but seeing this kind of art in person is stunning. worth every penny since this art requires tons of layers that took even years to finish.
These pens are not for everyone and everyday due to their huge size. The price of these pens are mostly 4000 to 5500 USD in Japan. I have not seen anything exceeding 7800 USD in 2018 catalog, however some older models in shops are still over 14,000 USD. But its possible to buy a nice Namiki around 2000 USD. The waiting list is approximately 6 months shortest if ur lucky. Although I had the chance to try these pens for a short time but never owned one.
pesto12601 for carvings that can actually be bad, one get glare of the material in the same extent so a soft incandecent light for small works are much better. Same with silver and shiny things, i seldom use a lamp.
i read $9000, and my initial reaction was "you fucking what?" that is an insane amount to pay. Granted im just a poor student so any amount of money past 1k seems like a lot
When something is made by an artist then its value goes beyond the physical object, and is extremely subjective. If nobody was willing to pay (much more than) that, this art wouldn't even exist.
I Know the site has to make money, but having bloody adverts at the beginning and all through out really makes my blood boil, enough to switch off and not watch it !!!!!!!!!!!
Wow. I'm not normally a fan of highly decorative fountain pens, but that is just breathtaking.
WOW! That is beautiful. Seriously skilful.
Realmente un excelente trabajo.
That was wonderful! Great video!!!
Wow that was breath taking
who else loved watching the craftsman carve out the designs and hearing the scratching sound?

Not something you're going to fight in, just like this probably isn't something you're going to write with.
DTR RTD you would write with it, on extremely rare occasions like a special ceremony or maybe a huge business contract with another corporation
Now I know what to get the billionaire on my Christmas list.
what is the use of an art that is only for rich people.
goodgreatlife it taught you about the meaning of life
Good pay, obviously.

Freddie Mercury
Too much talking, and not enough doing.
Namiki : 8k$ Bic : less than 1$ both do the same.
Except they don’t. A ballpoint and a fountain pen are two different types of ink delivery. You’re comparing apples and oranges. Try again.
The entire thing is Traced !! Then layered, each layer can hide the artists flaws
Can you do this ?
