From what I read 4.10 gearing would be close to factory 32” tires for your truck on 40’s. People seem to agree that 4.56 would be perfect especially if you tow a little. 4.88’s are most optimistic if you do heavy towing and use your bed.

Truck looks great and all the pieces are coming together very nicely, but I think the spare tire as outlived its purpose.
There is nothing at all wrong with that gear oil ( what you pulled out of your diff) that stuff was super clean

I have an 84 k5 blazer 8" lift with 454... It's called "my minion". Yellow and white now. Next winter I am going to put it to the big change. I want to change to satain black and that illusion purple might be my other color. I want to powder coat the suspension... All going to be done on my channel.

Also I think it would be really cool if you painted the door handles n the tailgate handle purple imo the black just stands out the purple would flow nice but again just my opinion

If you work outside in the cold make sure you wear pants instead of shorts in the cold weather when work outside.

Next time use the semi pumps in the back. They are way quicker and easier. No cutoff either
You could have cut the spout on the gear oil down further, making the hole larger for the oil to come out faster. Just saying haha

Might be short notice, but I would recommend getting a s-pod touch screen for your light controller, very clean when installed and don’t have run a butt load of switch’s

Wow saw your Diesel price of $3.15 were paying $2.65 here in northern Missouri
Don’t feel bad with the fuel price, assuming my math is correct, that fill up woulda been $118 (UK pricing and converting from us gallons to litres n back again, my local price is £1.31 a litre here)

I live in Cali and 25 gallons of regular unleaded gas is around $85-$100. And you’re telling me you got 25 gallons of DIESEL for $75!!!! AND GAS IS ONLY 2.53 over there?!?! It’s almost $4 a gal here wth!!

Let me know if and how well the tip holds up, had the owner of a local body shop that knew someone who "does powder coating". Lasted like a month, month and a halfish and I'm wondering if they painted it and said it was powder or if the exhaust just really gets that hot, to flake and peel powder coating . . . Just curious thinking of doing what you did and powder my own stuff so I'm not paying 90$ for such a small piece!!
