People don’t realize how much pressure Gianna is under now that Abby is paralyzed, she’s now the only person who can physically demonstrate what Abby wants. No wonder she gets frustrated.

I mean come on.. Abby can do only very basic movements to demonstrate, Gianna is actually a dancer and has always been able to show the movement as it's intended. I think that's part of why Abby's choreography kinda sucks imo. She just yells out the same 10 dance steps and doesn't ever really come up with unique meaningful movements. It's like the difference between Abby and Kalani's teacher from Arizona
Isn’t dance moms lifetimes most successful show? Why don’t they give dance moms an hour and a half instead of an hour so they can put in the extended scenes, unaired dances, and cut scenes?

I am a gymnast and before I HATED dance (meaning I hated doing it) (This was when I just started watching the show and I was like 6 haha) But now I sometimes even learn the choreography in the groups and I am begging my mom to also put me in dance lol
She said one little remark about losing her train of thought and now all of the comments are trashing her. She’s just trying to do her job. They learn full dances in only a couple of days, she’s just trying to get things done quickly, it’s stressful.
"I need you to dance not be a mannequin" can tell you right now that's not how they talk at club, the rock, mathers, elevation, the playground, westside dance project, any top studios/companies.
She just got frustrated and everybody gets frustrated at some point

Gianna was being kinda mean.....”I need you to dance not be a mannequin” ouch...harsh. They are constantly changing it as they are choreographing, the fact these kids can keep track of what’s being kept and what’s been changed is really impressive.
Nah, it's a correction like any other. Dancers get that pretty often, it's actually constructive.
Gianina was raised on broadway and big projects so she gets this kind of constructive feedback all the time.

Nope, that's why I'm not commenting. I don't know anything about dance at all. I have two left feet, if I were to try to dance right now I would break my neck. I do think she was a little mean, but at the same time though I can't really say much because I don't know anything about it so I'm just saying my opinion but I don't know enough about it to actually have a full opinion if that makes sense. Yeah I think she was a little mean, but what do I know I've never been in dance.

Wow this was so interesting to see how they choreo a routine, I think this is the most in-depth I’ve ever seen from the show.
Gianna isn’t being mean she’s the main one choreographing the dances, she wants to make sure they’re to their full potential and the best they can be
People stop talking about how Gianna is rude or something. Gianna and Abby are being dance teachers, and being quiet in class is a part of dancer etiquette. Second the show is highly edited and Gianna could’ve said that stuff about other stuff completely unrelated. Don’t draw conclusions right away. Thanks 🙃🙃
I only saw Lilly all the time. She just caught my eye. I like her so much. Being the youngest but she got it all. Self confidence. She knows exactly what she does and is focused all the time.

Love to see the work that gets put into the choreography step by step evolving making a full dance and changing to make it perfect. Giana straight point and been clear on what does not need to be there. Was not a harsh coment what she said, she knows the kid could dance thats why she added "you are dancing".

I used to love Gianna (AKA the first episode) but then I realized how she’s basically a mini Abby who doesn’t like kids.
Hannah Weaver Abby has said on multiple accusations that she loves kids, if she didn’t, why would she even be doing the show? Also, Gianna has always been a strict teacher, she’s just stressed because she’s the only one who can demonstrate the choreo now that Abby is paralyzed. I’ve even been to a master class of Gianna’s and she isn’t overly nice about things. Plus, they learn full routines in a few days, I imagine that as being stressful.

I think Gianna was shown to be less assertive in past seasons. You may have thought Abby was the tough one and Gia was the nice one but it really doesn’t work that way. You have to be strict to be taken seriously and finish a dance in TWO DAYS! She was giving out CONSTRUCTIVE CRITICISM and it worked!

People wants Gianna to talk BUT when she talked she gets bashed. People get stressed sometimes, abby cant walk so she handle all the choreos by herself and abby just change it when she sees the kids dance. So i dont have any complain for gianna coz i see in her eyes that she's tired and stressed.

Honestly this video goes to show that Abby and Gianna dont yell harshly when they teach the choreo, its normal for dance teachers to say some "mean" corrections but it isnt like that bad and u can see Abby isnt yelling and screaming at them here and Gianna only showed she was frustrated but duh she's frustrated she is the only one who can demonstrate anything now

It may have been interpreted differently in different places but there's one set of original lyrics and that's what they are. It takes one Google search.
From what I saw in dance moms this is how Abby pick favourites there many factors, but first I want to say that Abby's favourites are not always the best dancers it's just happen that she bias to someone more than the others and then show it strongly. Ok here is how to be the favourite of Abby Lee Miller:
1) your mom's personality should get along with Abby's hard personality. (And that's what I see with melissa and stacey)
2) you should be a very good dancer overall.
3) if Abby knew how to choreograph for you winning solos (knows well your strengths), then this is a strong point for you.
4) you should be the smallest or one of the smallest in the team. ( this point is not very strong but still does effect as we see Lilly is the smallest and Maddy was smaller than others except kenzie)
5) you should have quick understanding of her instructions and apply corrections fast. (Also this what I see in lilly and maddie)
6) you should show Abby that you have a strong passion for dance and the will to learn.
7) you should also show Abby that you really care to please her and to get first everytime. (Lilly was always crying and sad when she didn't win first weeks and Abby noticed that, also maddie was always upset when she loose and abby sees that). In other words, give abby the feeling that she is manipulating you.
8) you have to do well under pressure.
So this 8 points I can see them all just in Maddie and Lilly. Other second favourite dancers such as brady, kalani, and some of the others have some of this points but not all of them. And this is never make Lilly and Maddie better dancers than the others, except in Abby's eyes. And that's sad she pick favourites this way ☹
Add other Abby's favourites features if I forgot some. And please like the comment I spend too much time writing this😂
Not to be rude, but Lilly does NOT do well under pressure. She chokes a lot and only started getting better when she felt proud of herself after Brady left and she got a perfect score from a rachelle rak comp. just my opinion

From what I've read from students of the ALDC, she has always been a pretty tough teacher. Abby is just batshit crazy so they focus a lot more on her.

Why don’t they put more of this in show? The show should be more about dance then the moms. This is more entertaining and cool to watch the process and then the finished product on stage.

Gianna looks exhausted, I don't blame her for being short with the dancers, however I appreciate Abby's type of teaching here, letting the dancers be creative and have fun while they are workshopping the dance. If the dance was finished and they were just cleaning it I'd understand the goofing off being irritating, but they were still changing and forming the dance.
Some of y’all have never been on a competition team and it shows. Gianna isn’t saying anything out of character for a dance teacher.
