I actually did better with just button smashing . . . LOL :D but still awesome. If you play a single character a lot after some time you do it by feel.

The match ends before the music kicks in....that is how i combo as well usually...trough in 99% the ai wont let you. :D

About ten attempts. It wasn't too hard because I made the combo up on the fly from watching another person's take on 100 hits.
