flashcards also never works for me as well! I feel like it works for subjects that focus more on memorization and definitions :(( the feynman learning technique is my favorite method rn! the essence of it is basically explaining the topics to yourself as if you're teaching a child (using easy to understand language and simple terms) to test your understanding of the material 💗 it's definitely embarassing to do when you're in public spaces so I always just do it at home LOL
My study method is pomodoro! Not because I cannot concentrate but for breaks. I tend to work harder than expected so I could easily be 4 hours writing or something, and after several days I get injuries about it, so my doctors and friends recommended me using it haha. And damn, I just finished eating dinner and I'm hungry once again because of the japanese food :') But anyway, I love watching your vlogs before going to sleep, I usually have issues due to stress, but they make me sooo relaxed and peaceful... Thank you so much and I wish you progress and happiness!

i hope your first year is going well!! summarising notes help me understand my content. I felt that making flash cards were time consuming and didn’t help me with memorising the content:( however I know it works for others, you should definitely try different methods and find out the way that works best for you as everyone has their preferred ways of studying:D
