Looking good Dave - really excited for these. Entering everywhere possible for em. I said it since first images surfaced SB dunk of the year. Great colourway and the simplicity. The collab with the skater is a bonus. Just a nice touch. Fair play to him for coming through with this design. The thinner tongue suits this pair.
I appreciate your video reviews and the honesty. It does suck to lose a raffle but its part of the process until you get a nice pair eventually. I definitely continue to support my local skate shop regardless if I win or lose the raffle.

I agree thinner tongue shoe fits and looks better imo. I need them, i wanna put the pink laces in too bad im not in your neck of the woods i wouldve love to put a raffle in. I feel the same way about the yutos i also thought they looked a bit plain, and im also a plain person but as mentioned looking at them on your feet im hyped! 😅😂😊
These are great for everyday use. Materials and colour shades does elevate these to another level. Hopefully can win the raffle, good luck to everyone 🎉

I was able to get 1 pair of aqua noise for low resale and got 2 pairs of the mystic red. 1 low resale and 1 through a sort of raffle at cost plus shipping. I'm happy with them and will look forward to the next general release SB to go for next and pay resale if it isnt too high. These Yutos might be my favorite pair in a long long time.
I agree and disagree, I mean honestly you should want a thicker tongue for support.. thinner tongues are more for a casual wear… especially if it’s an SB dude lol. But everyone has different preference.. there still dope those earth tones 🔥
How is a thick tongue offering support? The tongue straps are what offers support. The thick tongue just makes it fit weird to me. Feels less supportive if you ask me: it’s just an aesthetic that is left over from puffy 90s skate shoes. Of course that’s just my opinion and understand that you feel different.
Thank you for working on trying to get those numbers. I live in Seattle WA so I know there may be more of a "sneaker" community around here. We had our first sneakercon this year and it was a completely packed event with no room to walk. I figure that maybe there is "less" of a community based around footwear in the area that Bluetile is located but I could be wrong. Another shop that I'll get sneakers from a shop called Pistol in Spokane WA and it seems that I'm much more likely to hit there than I am at my own locals sometimes.

That’s fine but you don’t get to focus that energy at shop owners and talk shit about them like they’re purposefully trying to hurt your feelings. It def gets way too personal and conspiracy theory spread like wild fire
I have no clue. I don’t follow resell market at all. I used to say I was going to educate myself on it but I just don’t have the mental capacity to learn that aspect of the shoe world. Haha it’s hard enough keeping shit together at retail
Tongues are a bit too slim for my liking, tbh. Still, I thought these were a brilliant shoe when they first leaked. Excellent colorblocking and somewhat boring. My style, for sure.
