Love these! I'd probably switch out the immersion blender for my KitchenAid... Although it's a tough choice because my immersion blender has a whisk attachment that can be used in a pinch to whip egg white... Hmm... Food for thought 🤔☺️
I seriously debated on the KitchenAid vs the blender... I can do just so many things with both! EXCEPT blend things with the KitchenAid... plus the attachments take up so much more storage space. But KitchenAid has been with me the longest so maybe that carries more weight (literally and figuratively!)😅
I usually find mine with either foil or the parchment paper inserts you can get. But yes I do my bacon in the air fryer I do my pork and beef roasts in there. I heated up to 400 with the meat in there and then I turn the temperature down to about 325 and then when the 20 minutes is up I reheat it and just repeat this process in an hour I have a perfect roast or chicken. I even do casseroles in it and meatloaf. My new thing is putting pork rinds in there and when they get all shiny I pull them out and I toss them with seasonings from flavor gods and my powdered cheddar cheese I got off Amazon. I also got powdered jalapeño and my husband loves that as a snack
I'm enjoying my immersion blender with the multi attachments. I need to get a bigger Air Fryer. Mine is extremely small, but it was my first time using and wasn't sure on how much I'd use it. Love it Thank you for all you do 💚💚💚
For Christmas last year, I bought myself an 8 qt Dual Plus Instant Pot with the air fryer lid. I just couldn't pass it up for right at 100 bucks! I love it! Plus, as it is stainless steel, I don't have to worry so much about any plastic leaching out into my food. 😳 It is really handy for my tiny room as a one pot wonder! 😊 I also love my Ninja blender and my Acekool immersion blender/processor combo, as well as both my Kitchenaid and Acekool stand mixers. The Kitchenaid is more heavy duty, but the Acekool is more portable and handles more volume. 😁 Also, I recently bought a 12-inch electric crepe griddle. I use it to make Nili's crepes/tortillas. I will have to try a tweaked version of Amy's tortillas she posted today, as well! 😊 And, I love my toaster oven to bake my protein bread...I think I pretty much have everything I need appliance-wise. (At least until something new comes along! 🤣) Love ya, hon! ❤💙💜 ~Lana
Yes I use my Keurig in the morning for coffee too but then I use my French press in the afternoon for a cup of decaf. I find that when I have a rich creamy cup of coffee in the late afternoon I eat less for dinner. I think I have to add my French press to that list I love this thing. I broke the first one I had which was my brothers so it was used but then I got a beautiful copper one on Amazon and then I found one at Goodwill for five bucks so I bought it and I put the pretty copper French press on the shelf. It’s a back up lol
I remember having the old ninja blenders where you had to hold the top button down the entire time it was blending. It had a mini bowl for a food processor too! It was a good machine but the button holding wore me out!
@@LindseyMurphy that's the one I have I like it for making soup or ice cream or chopping ice for ice drink's chopping veggies up thing's like that and a bigger blender to do egg puddings crush ice pule things making it way smaller I also like my mini kitchenaid food processor
My career for 46 years was cooked and chef. I have been obsessed with kitchen appliances for over 30 years and I still am and I have some very old ones. My go to appliances nowadays are air fryer smoothie makers and food processor
The three things for my husband and I would be 1) HIS Ninja coffee maker, 2) Our Ninja Airfryer 3) The Ninja blender. We also have the Ninja Creami, Pioneer Woman's instant pot, an immersion blender, but if i would leave behind my husband's coffee pot, well......I just may not be here any longer.........J/K, but he LOVES his coffee....lol.
Definitely agree with you on the three necessary appliances (4 with the coffee pot). I don't have an air fryer like yours, I have a bigger oven style that has an air frying function. So I am happy not to add that one appliance as I have run out of storage/counter space. I have the 3 quart IP and the IP 6 quart Max. The mini is going with me this year when we go to my mother's house (it is now our summer place) because I truly love doing eggs in the IP and cooking tough roasts. Good choices!
@@LindseyMurphy It is! I have had it for almost 5 years and it has held up well and been a really great appliance to have. I should have been traveling with it, I don't know why I didn't. But now it can live in NC and be happily used up there.
Definitely agree on the air fryer - I use mine daily! I also couldn't live without my ninja blender and my cuisinart ice cream machines!! Yes, plural LOL I have 4 of them - One I bought from Amazon, the others have been thrift stores cause you need extra tubs :). We make homemade ice cream around here ALL THE TIME.
I actually had the situation where the stovetop broke and all I had was a brand new Instant Pot and a new air fryer and I had to entertain! Stressful indeed. I entertained 2 couples with both of them and they were totally surprised. I have 4 Instant Pots (of different sizes), a 10 quart Air fryer, and I use one of the Instant Pots every day. I switch them out as needed. I have a Nespresso Vertuo pot, a cold brew pot, and a really old immersion blender that does not have any pieces to switch out. I need to get a newer one. I can’t decide on one item - that is too hard. I would say I need 5 = an Instant Pot, an air fryer, my coffee pot (my Nespresso), my KitchenAid 2,5 quart mixer and my VitaMix blender, I had a Ninja Pulse for many years but the pieces started to break and eventually all that was left was the single use cup, I decided to pay the price for a Vitamix and I’m glad I went with the expense.
I have an immersion blender it’s a KitchenAid and I never use it. I guess I just need to get it out and use it it’s just too easy to do my smoothie makers am I blender am I ninja food processor
I got the Gormia from Costco for like $60 it was regular 100. My mother-in-law called me up one day and said hey this air fryer is on sale at Costco do you want it? And I said sure I’ve always wanted one and so she ordered it. I absolutely love it. I have the Insta pot and I’ve used it a few times. I really do like using it I just need to think ahead and use it more
Definitely the coffee pot is #1, then my Ninja blender, I have the Air Fryer oven that works great. One question for you, when you make mayonnaise, are you concerned about the raw egg? Just wondering. Thanks 😊
I forgot one other thing - I can’t live without my 11 cup food processor. I use it every single day to purée my homemade dog food and to make sauces for dinner, or doughs.
You’re not gonna believe this but my friend owns a secondhand store and she does cleanouts of estates and storage units just all kinds of stuff she had a brand-new one in a box the box had been wet and got moldy but inside everything was still wrapped up it had never even been opened. She sold it to me for $25 and it’s over $200 online. The brand is gourmia as well
I can when I use the large pitcher because I can vent the pour spout. I have done hot liquids in the single serve cups as well, but it's a bit more of a "process" to ensure the pressure doesn't build up.
@@ja4005 it does! It’s pretty powerful. And the AutoIQ model I have came with a food processor attachment and a few single serve cups along with the regular pitcher!
I am on the fence about purchasing an air fryer. I’m not sure I have the counter space, but the recipes in Trim Healthy Future look amazing. But I’m wondering if I would use it daily?
Hey, Lindsey! I bought the 8qt duo plus from your link just to make yogurt and am confused about how to use it. Most videos just say dump in ingredients & push yogurt button. Well, I also then pushed start...anywho, does it kill the bacteria when it starts the boil phase? Thks!!!
100%. My first ever small appliance purchase out of college was an immersion blender, which I use to this day.
