- Apex Legends New Collection Event Ruined By EA AS the new Void Reckoning Milestone event introduces the new dummies big day mode mode with new legendary and epic skins however they have announced a reactive havoc skin for the heirloom reward from the season 1 battlepass. This is par for the course of an EA studio as they look to maximize profits over new features such as cross progression and a next gen upgrade.

They killed Titanfall 2 back in the day by allowing cheating to run rampant it's the same with all ea multiplayer games nowadays let cheaters destroy it while they get their bag then shut it down or make new game to release and repeat

All I can say is don’t bitch and complain if you play the game, buy collection events, skins, packs. All we’re doing is enabling their bad behavior. The cheating is the biggest issue for me anyway.

Hope they crash and burn for this honestly, absolutely zero integrity. Collection events are already ridiculous, paying 160 euros an heirloom is absolute robbery and mythic skins are even worse, paying that much money just to have different gloves holding your gun.

For me its crazy how NOT A SINGLE Apex content creator started a hashtag wave or a petition to push EA/Respawn to fix their game… They’re all doing single videos yapping but not acting yet they have the power to do something about it. Just take the tf2 community as a prime example on how to push corps to fix their games

@@davejo12 they never do anything, when apex devs were getting told to kill themselves i didnt see a single youtuber jump in and say "hey thats not okay" it wasnt until respawn pushed out a statement about it that people finally started saying it wasnt okay, and it may have been like 1 vid per ytber. and respawn cant do much about the game, ea wants them to keep pushing, things like server issues usually are not actually the server but your internet, but things like what happened a few days ago were actually the very rare server issue appearing, respawn cant do anything about that because its not their servers, its multiplays. and for all the bugs, it takes time to fix those, they always have a huge list and have to fix them without creating new ones which is already challenging enough, cut the devs some slack, they already get shit on enough. instead target ea although it prob wont do anything, if they stop making money on apex then theyll shut it down.

So like they created the game and never got access to it after it went public? They should just be inspired by Vanguard for Valorant its simple exploits that cheaters are using they’re not 5$ cheats for nothing bro. They had a decent improvement over the first movement but at least they got something back from it! We just need to do it! Valve is one of the hardest corp to get attention from us the community and they did it one time, they’ll have it again. With pressure, any corps will have to push improvements for their public reputation (even EA at a bigger scale problem)

I get it, in the end it's a business that has to answer to shareholders. But they've gone about it all wrong being greedy, and it's costing them now with the lower player counts. If they were to drop their prices by 50- 75%, they would sell 20 times more stuff. Reducing you per item sale profit and going with a volume sales profits is common practice, because it just works....

As a caustic main, this lifeline skin is absolute fire but damn do they pick the worst times for my pockets to be thin
I absolutely hate this type of event. Seeing how sick the Horizon skin is for example and then knowing I'll have to gamble for it with a limit of 1-3 packs sucks. I'd much rather just spend my money buying the skin on its own.
It's sad because I would happily spend money on the newcastle skin, he has like two good ones good ones, but it's a milestone event.. greedy bastards..
This is just gonna be rinse and repeat thing which respawn they will think of the worst thing possible and double it (making us pay over 200 dollars worth of crappy skins and only 1 legendary skin for your weapon that you more than likely won’t ever use in the game again) yeah that is a smart move.
After i didnt get the caustic skin until my very last pack, and my first 6 packs were literally all the 6 epics. If i dont get it within my first 2 packs i wont be participating and will wait until they come back in shop rotation later
Thordan, they (EA/Respawn) do not care about what we think. They will continue to do whatever they want as long as they make money. They will kill the game in the process. That's it.
Hey Throdan have you considered that the Havoc recolor as an item in the Exotic Shop? That's what I've heard but who knows it could be in the event as the main thing if it is that is a huge L because I'd love to get my hands on that Havoc skin it just looks so good, these milestone events need to phase out and just go back to there old roots of just the 24 main items and get an hierloom and maybe recolors and a few prestige skins here and there but these milestone event needs to die, this is just my thoughts on this topic, okay that's the end of my rant hope you agree with me iglf not that's okay and I totally understand.

Honestly the more u see the void knight skins the less appealing they are, and the havoc skin doesn't seem that great to me atleast and the sword that would have been for Newcastle looks dope but guess I'll just keep using the buster sword for now.
This is why I switched to the finals. I want Apex to continue to succeed but unfortunately the cards are stacked against them with companies like EA breathing down respawns neck.

I don't like the death box changes I got the ff sword and all the rest of the event but can't have that deathbox if I pick a different heirloom like nope. Should be it's own opinion to select. Learned a lesson there. For sure.

In my opinion. No matter how new you are to the team. You should be briefed or some higher up should say. "Hey. We promised to never do that again. Great idea, but why don't we do it this way" and give an alternative way for an event or item. It pains me to say this but Apex used to be my all time favorite game and now I feel like I'm playing it because I have to and not that I want to because of how many hours I've put into it. Don't get me wrong it's still fun and I enjoyed solos and quads is good too. But they should make it so not a full team can be 1 class. I think 2 max. I've run into so many control teams it's not even funny

The Cheating is out of control......It's getting unplayable to get a whole game in without running into a 4 stack that is hacking. The lobbies die out so fast. I got link with a team of cheaters that even moving as fast as possible the other team were dead before I could get there. I think I did 200 something damage and that was finishing off the down players. They just laughed about me being late to the fights. I called them out and they laughed and replied so what. Oh they where even complaining about how the lobbies die out to fast. It was the second game I played in quads.....Quads are full of 4 stacks - making it unplayable for casuals.
Cheating was out of control? It just sounds like you couldnt keep up with players way above your skill level. Oh was all those teams in quads 4 stacking? 4 stacking just sounds like some shit people say to justify whatever other dumbass shit they are trying to say.

$160-360 for a red tier reactive skin for one gun sucks buns bc the only reason that the katar worked at the $360 price is because the packs changing price and that the thing is universal this upcoming havoc skin is no where close to being universal and they're going to most likely going to nerf the havoc within the next couple updates because it one of the biggest issues in the game its stupid op and the recent "nerf" was nothing but a joke thank god for elden ring im far away from this game for the time being hope its better with time this is the thrid time ive eft this game do to issues with devs doing nothing to improve this game
