It's interesting how some characters got toned down, other's got toned up and some were like, "Yeah it's good enough let's keep it mostly the same." Considering these images is there gonna be an aging function? As in as the story progresses the main characters will get older? Cause if so that's gonna be neat.
@@Netsaver i hope there's consistentcy about the aging system and not ended up like DW9 and SW5 and about the MC aging i don't think there's aging phase for him but that's my assumptions
from what i read, this game will be set in the earlier stages of the three kingdoms period, so i think this one is meant to focus in on the fall of the han and rise of cao cao/liu bei/sun family, etc. honestly i think this is a better approach as you dont have to suspend your disbelief so much as to why everyone stays the same age over decades lol
@SagamiBoy2001ch I think the protagonist is Liao hua. Just so u know in the prologue DWO, when protagonist meet guan yu its kinda same moment when liao hua First meeting guan yu in jing province too.
Assuming more Shu characters will be added in some expansion/DLC timeskip and maybe we'll get the aging function that other guy was talking about for the base roster (young Zhang Fei and Guan Yu make sense but also look super cursed lol)
It seems like they narrowed down the weapon variations? I guess they really aimed for more deeper combo movesets with weapon arts and all so this can be a good thing Even from the demo it's already a major improvements, kinda reminds me of Nier Automata

Truthfully i see in the comments and i feel for the grievences of lost characters and changed weapon idenity design. My biggest one is being locked to the unnamed. I want to put faith in this team direction though as i do see the honest effort here vs before, especially with how 9 went. I can see if this gsme successful dlc and playable characters and stuff being added; for now this is a start and i cant wait to play this and re enjoy my childhood favorite series

Budget was a huge obstacle for this game. Also the story not going past Chi Bi takes out a lot of characters. All of the Liang boys, most of the next generation characters like Guan Ping, etc.

Too bad they arent fully playable which is a joke. No one asked to play one character only with a select few companions that you play as for a bit. Its a tease. Not to mention its ridiculous they dont have all the battles. What were they thinking. Ive been playing since 3. Such a let down.
