I remember jumping sand dunes and crazy stuff in red t(he first manx built) when I was 12 years old in baja and sadldle back mountain with Bruce (my uncle and dad Richard Meyers) and plenty of other great times in mexico growing up!!!!

I recently saw that my area has a lot of VW beetles up on Craigslist for like $800, and Manx still makes like five new models. Man I really wanna do this. Maybe with a Subaru wrx engine or even a type 4 stroked and bored to 2.3L. But it would take a few years before I get that far.

@NovaStar77 Nice video, I have seen most of it before,but thanks for posting, check out more of my videos on my channel,ralphdjeeper, i have known Bruce Meyers for over 45 year's, i used to Crate up his car's for shipping,and made all the plywood parts for the back seat's for his,and most of the copycat's that came after that. again thanks for posting.
