Yes good to hear that the SC7 is the winner in this test. To me definitely my SC7 outperforms my previous P Zero 4 in all aspect, the braking and cornering performance is the first obvious difference when I first used it, much more grip and confidence inspiring. Even in the wet excellent performance. I have covered 12K KM and I happy to report even the wear rate is much better than PZ4. My PZ4 was worn out and replaced at 15700KM. It looks like SC7 can easily reach 20K km. This is an excellent tire, so happy with it I will buy it again !
@@bluen1 Very spirited & City. Now my CS7 has covered 15K KM and there is still good thread life remaining, whereas before my PZ4 is worn out especially the inner shoulder and is about to show canvass. I guess CS7 can easily go another 6-10K
just a suggestion. after this all of your car drive uphill, equip with a camera at the back but facing in front. attached like with selfie stick. so that the camera view the car like 3rd person view. it would be awesome.
Many tyres perform at their best when they are relatively new, but once they age, big names will tell you that you haven’t wasted your money. Conti Sport 7 was excellent but it’s prone to puncture very easily unlike the Pirelli Zero, and the reason is the sidewall. Performance wise both are excellent but mileage wise, Pirelli wins.
7 months into my SC7 ownership, it is like changing to a different car, best decision ever! The road feels and communication is mind blowing. Next tire hunt journey would be PSS5, hopefully it release before my treads are done. Just a side note: P Zero is not in same category as SC7 or PS4S, there is P Zero Corsa for that. P Zero is same group as PS5, CPC7.
@teohabi I have a friend put PS5 on the exact same car model. Normal road rolling noise SC7 is about the same as PS5, maybe even a tad quieter. But when the wheel falls into porthole or over the bridge gap quickly, the "tud" sound is very loud.
@@cheongit 7 months ago were grey import from SG my friend, and price different a lot by size. This tire only officially launched in MY recently. Bought them close to official PS5 price, and a lot cheaper than current official SC7 price, but no warranty.
I recently swapped the tyres on my Sonata N Line from the stock Continental PremiumContact 6 to Pirelli P Zero (245/40 R19) and the difference is phenomenal, if I mashed the throttle on my stock tyres the car would wheel hop, shudder and torque steer so heavily because of it’s large amount of torque going through the front wheels on an open diff, but the P Zero’s have so much stronger grip I feel much more comfortable flooring it off the mark without the need to engage in launch control so the car limits the torque so it doesn’t torque steer as much, my tyres still spin and shred like crazy but grip is far superior. Same with my Stinger GT swapped over from the Continental SportContact 5 to Michelin Pilot Sport 4S and the car from the rear has such a tighter grip it helps put the power down far better, it’s amazing how high performance tyres absolutely change the performance of a vehicle. It also helps in performance times and figures.
Uncle im planning to change my rims and tyre... for 16 inch in my vios im planing either ps4 or bridgestone potenza... what do uncle recommend? I like to play in cornering
When you drive a car for the first time without knowing what tyres are on that car, you can never tell what brand and model of tyre was fitted to that car. There are no jaw-dropping, significantly different levels of ability/performance between different tyres within a specific size and segment (eg: 19” ultra high performance) In the end, its mostly about the best price and which tyre shop you like best.

@@raispang6258do your cs7 also wear faster on the inside?
@@jdfd4906 Yes, but it has nothing to do with the tyre, but the chamber setting of my car. Still using it, I think another 3K-5K KM.

Thanks, YS Khong! It would be great to see the tire surface after the run next time, so we can assess the wear.
I am quite economical on tyres.

The corsa is cup 2 level.
Loving the subtitles uncle
Hi Mr. YS Khong, I think you did not see the white Honda Civic approaching behind on your right @14:35 😮.
I think the better comparison would be between Pirelli pzeros (PZ4) and the Conti SC7 over the standard pzeros
No, the real comparision is CSC7 VS. Goodyear SuperSport.
The test includes the old Pirelli PZ4 model and a completely new version of the Pirelli PZ4, which has been available for several years.
I like this kinda of shots. looks superb to see the driving masta taking the bends 😁
Glad you enjoyed

You need the Sport Contact 7 (SC7)
@@YSKhongDriving is Pirelli P Zero not a better tyre than the Continental SC7
Wow great description
LooKs like the Pirelli did better on the corners actually. I could see the continental sliding when the Porelli did really well
Hahaha, didn't think there was any sliding at all.
Wich one has better straight traction under heavy acceleration on dry?

try the goodyear supersport vs continental sportcontact 7
You are right !.

Uncle, I am driving a Forester, but has no intention to go off road, what type of tyre do u recommend?
Just what the manufacturer recommends. The car is already good in stock form so you don't need to modify the tyres.

Try Continental UC7
No 16" for PS4 and Potenza Sport
Continental Premium Contact 7.

Uncle the SC7 vs PS5... which would be your pick as an overall tyre?
PS7 of course
Very nice education video, nice driving.. What abt price comparison.. Sc7 vs p0 vs ps

If you think so.
But you will know if the car handles well or not. And if you change to another set, you may feel the difference. It's sometimes called a control test.
SC7 is UUHP. Try easier one PS4/PS5 vs SC7, even my wife can tell. Initial turn-in is drastically different.
Did the shop let u keep the tyres as a token after the test? Naughty question hahaha..
Uncle Falken vs michelin pilot or this?
Have not done a Falken test
Boss may i ask what tyres pressure on front & rear ya Thanks
Standard pressure
