I'm REALLY looking into this game. In your opinion, does it have the potential to become a kind of modern Ultima Online? I mean really become, in time, as deep and intricate as UO?
I think the game has the soul of UO but not the physical aspects of it. Just different. UO was the feel of the game, the sounds, the style of gameplay. Fractured has all of these, just different. Pvp is VERY similar, I PK’d a bunch of people yesterday and it was amazing. The experience had that spark and the magic we all crave.
@@vlast6010 How about the depth of the systems? like fishing, crafting, etc... I feel (though I didn't pay) that it is kind of UO, LITE. I really want to love Fractured but I am so hesitant because last time I was hyped for a game I thought was the next UO (MO2) I was so disappointed, it made me angry just to start the game because of how an utterly bad experience the game was and still is today...
UPDATE March of 2023. This game is going through a rough patch and may be a failed launch. Be WARY of purchasing it. I would wait to see how it develops more and what their plans are before committing to this game.
Yes. On the contrary, as a playtester of over 20 years, I can say these two miss the fact that particular combat styles exist. Melee is naturally disadvantaged and is more of a grind since gear is more important. Not sure why anyone would enjoy crafting as a melee. These devs are pretty inexperienced imo. They add grind and steps for the sake of 'realism' without any incentives. I am a dev that advises multiple AAA studios and playtests. They have a lot to work on before launch. I am also a prev top 5 alliance shotcaller in Albion Online.
I wanted to give this game a try, but it seems INCREDIBLY dead. I am definitely very confused as to why Gamigo even bought it, let alone keeps dumping money into it when it has literally 33 players online... There is no way its even making enough money to pay half an engineer's salary. The only future I see for this game is a bunch of wasted money, tiny spike of players at launch day (maybe a few hundred) and then it all just falls apart.
I'm very excited for the PVP world. The game is a lot of fun.
It looks like it plays like an online version of Neverwinter Nights? Which is a total good in my book.
Way to break down the Pros and Cons! GG!!!
I can see the slower paced gameplay but the quality of life should get better over early access
They need a forced movement option like how you can set right click to always move in Albion Online
I agree

Classes balanced? Anything to avoid?
its classles, you kill things to get abilities
No classes. 8 ability slots that you can swap tons of skills in and out of. Similar to Guild Wars.

@@warfighterarmy Are a early access player of this game?
The Game has no active players what so ever or am I wrong? That’s at least what Steam charts tell me
high hopes for the game as its got potential... but gamigo?.... either way keeping an eye on this
good overview. not alot of hype and emotion to the content which usually is a bait lol
Thanks!
Is PVP opt-in or non-consenual?
A bit of both? So “evil” is you can attack anyone at anyone. FFA. “neutral” is opt in to attack other neutral players.
Can I move with WASD if not its a hard pass for me
Sry mate. Most top down style games are all click to move now. I think this is because they can be played on tablets and mobile.
Looks similar to V Rising 🤨
yeah..... looks like a game from 2000s
