I am a new gamer as of this past year (grew up with consoles but not many games that kept me interested) and I have thoroughly appreciated your videos! They are interesting, informative, objective, and cover a broad spectrum of genres! Thank you for helping me ease into the community!
I didn’t think I’d be into PuffPals (farming sim fatigue) but my gods, the aesthetics and house decorating sold me! I can’t wait to live out my cottagecore dreams in that game
Ah, I'm so excited about Puff Pals Island Skies! I backed their Kickstarter and got lots of the cute in game exclusives, plus a few of the plushies, and I am dyyyying to see them 😩 I hope they're able to release on Switch this year.
I always love whenever I get a notification from your channel! I’ve gotten all of my cozy games from your recommendations and I’m never disappointed! I’m so excited for more and exciting news about cozy games from you, so glad I found your channel!❤❤
So happy you have Outer Wilds on this list! I recently discovered your channel and saw some of your cozy games lists. I thought of Outer Wilds and wondered if that would be a game you would be into. Then found this video! It is cozy in a way (though I personally get stressed by it as I am so bad at the flying and some aspects of the DLC stressed me out). It's one of those games that after you play and love it, you want to recommend to others so you have someone else to talk to about it and want to watch others play. It is one of my favourite games. I love the story and how it's presented, and the soundtrack is gorgeous. I hope it comes to the Switch soon so you and others can enjoy it. Just warning - avoid spoilers at all cost. If you plan to stream it, hopefully the viewers are good with not giving spoilers or too much "backseat gaming", or maybe there's some way to prevent spoilers in the chat. I'm already disappointed that the Switch announcement mentioned that the loop length and about the sun. Not a huge deal but those are nice to find out or figure out on your own.
I finally got a switch and have been excitedly watching all your videos! Each video is informative and it's easy to search your channel for relevant topics or additional game information. It helps me prioritize and budget since I am catching up on years of gaming :)
I will never say this enough but please give a chance to Outer Wilds! I played it on the PC and it is my all time favourite game! It's so captivating yet so relaxing! The music make everything unforgettable and I would give anything to erased this game from my memory just so I can play and discover it again and again and again. It's magical and you won't regret it, it's so worth your money! You'll became attached to so many characters and I arrived at a point I couldn't stop playing it, I just wanted to now the end. And even after finishing the game, I replayed again and again just to have this sensation. It's like you eventually find your home place, a place where you're at peace. This game give me some chills and it is, for me, my happy place. I cried so much, not only for sadness because the story is wonderful, but I cried of nostalgia, happiness and so much more. Living the adventure with the character is like living your own adventure and the more you dive into it the more you feel connected. I don't know if it is well explained, talking about this game always make me so passionate about it but I hope you'll give it a chance 💚
So happy to see Coral Island on this list! I've been playing it on Steam and absolutely loving it. Not gonna lie, super tempted to get it on Switch when it becomes available. Depends on what the multiplayer is like I guess
This might sound odd but I don’t really play cosy games, however I still love watching your videos on cosy games. They’re just a cosy vibe in themselves!
I'm looking forward to Sun Haven, Plucky Squire and of course Coral Island... I would have added PuffPals (so freaking cute) but I doubt it would be released this year (it would awesome if it was though)
Puffpals, Coral Island and the last two games seem like my vibe. Thank you for your videos, I probably would'nt even recognize half of the games in the store and miss out.
OMG Eowna! You haven't played Outer Wilds????? You have to play it!! It's such an experience, I swear, it's my favourite game of all times. You're going to love it. I didn't know it was coming to the switch but I'm so happy so more many people will get to play this masterpiece. I hope it comes with the DLC because that's like a second game and as good as the base game. If you want to play it live I can promise you will get lots of love :DDD
I loved Oxenfree, looking forward to the next part. Love your channel, I found so many great games thanks to you!! Playing Wylde Flowers right now and it´s really good.
I am exactly like you when it comes to pikmin! STRESS! PANIC! AAAAA! I'd like a pikmin game where they're endangered and you have to raise them to release them and idk throw some farming elements in there too, that would be nice and ~calm~
I can't wait for Coral Island on Switch and really hope like DDLV you can play cross platform. Now I see several others I can't wait for. I think Coffee Talk is the one I want most. Just one of those no stress have fun and be distracted games.
My top 3 are Mail Time, Puff pals (which im getting early access so 2024 but shhhh), and Mushi come home as of now anyway also looking forward to frog song and a couple others!
I really want Puffpals! The thing is though, that when they started their kickstater, they said it wouldn’t be ready till 2025. But now if you go to the FAQ, it says they’re not committing to a date for the finished product.
I needed to say.. THANK YOU for recommending Ooblets so hard. Truly thought it was strange and I wouldn't love it, but you convinced me to try it. And you're right, it's great lol
I just stumbled upon your channel tonight, and have been watching various videos for hours. I must say thanks to you I have already uncovered some hidden gems on my Switch, and have been playing them all night. It is a super cozy console, and for the most part I enjoy cozy games on it. I play alot of games, from fighting games like Street Fighter (can't wait for 6) too more underrated fighting games like Guilty Gear... I am in love with Strive, Blazblue, Skullgirls, etc.. etc. . It is one way I relax. I typically play games like that on PC or PS4, trying to get my spouse a PS5... They are tricky to get. I really don't need a PS5 since I mostly play on Steam, or GOG. However when it comes to the Switch I just love to zone out and pla Stardew Valley, and various chill, and unique indie games or JRPG's. Basically my Switch is such a cozy console, I usually play it when I can't sleep, or on a slow day to just relax. Sure I have played plenty of engaging games on Steam, but mostly I reserve Steam for Fromsoft Souls games. Or the PS4 since Bloodborne was a huge reason I got one. Oh and I am still playing Elden Ring. Like hrmm let's just say the PC is mostly for the thrill of competition with fighting games which actually relax me. Still of course in my PC I would pull up Stardew Valley to just relax zone out and enjoy the ride. However when I purchased my Switch 3 years ago it became my go to for cozy. I think the fact that it can be portable gives a certain charm. I found myself buying Indie games that just relaxed me all over again for the Switch, Harvest Moon, Sally Face, Atelier which I loved on the PS3 way back. Catherine Full Body, Persona 5 now, and this month Persona 3 my first Persona game back on the PS2. Basically yeah, there's the mainstream games I like, the fighting games which are more niche but scratch my competitive itch since I hate team based competitive games like shooters, or anything where I have to keep my mouth shut because if I say anything I get the "omg gamer gril" harassment. Fighting games I don't need to rely on mysoginstic, homophobic, racist, bigoted incel types. It's just me vs my opponent, and once fighting games click for you (at least when they did for me) it's like speed chess. Anti-air DP, footsies, pokes, shimmies, 50-50 moments. Initially it was stressful but then I just learned to zen out, try to read my opponent, and even train them make mistakes, while trying not to make them myself. I am pretty casual but they relax me in a weird way. However while fighting games and such can go from stressful to super zen you still need to mentally move a mile a minute. Sure I love it, but sometimes I just like to take it slow. I think too many games focus on combat, but then there are the cozy slow peaceful games, usually Indie games I love. I mean it got dark but the first parts of Sally Face was like if like the Goonies, met Stranger Things. I loved Sally Face until a certain point, and still do until that point where I stop playing on replays. The early game while dark had a gothic childlike adventurous feel for me. I didn't care much for the latter parts of the game obviously. Great start, but got way too dark. Still early game is a ton of fun. Humm rambling so... to sum it up, the Switch is my favorite console. It's super relaxing and cozy and a great platform for super chill Indie games, and some Nintendo games like, pokemon even with the glitches in Violet, Animal Crossing, Breath of The Wild, Fire Emblem... but there is much more on the store front, hidden gems like, What Comes After, Coffee Talk or ports from steam. I said Sally Face but then there is the epic Undertale which I have replayed three times on the switch. Yet there's much more, which watching a few of your videos I am now aware of thanks to this channel. 😊 Sorry it's 5 in the morning so I am a little incoherent... lol still I love cozy games and well thanks to your focus on them, tonight found some hidden gems like, Potion Permit, Beacon Pines, Spiritfarer, even Dreamlight Valley, which despite the bugs is super fun. Thank for the recommendations, I love the channel you got a new sub. Now I need to sleep since what was meant to be a simple thank you, you got a new sub post but has turned into a rant born of exaustion. 😄 Keep up the great work. 👋
i just got oxenfree the other day & now i can’t wait to play it, also looking forward to coral island it looks so super fun, i recommend coffee talk to anyone that asks about gaming it was literally so cozy can’t wait for the 2nd one, another great video ❤️
Is that going to be released on the switch?? I heard it's going to be/on PC but I'd love to have it on my console. It looks amazing and a lot of love was put into it :)
You sold a copy of Wylde Flowers the other day! I totally bought it and now I am totally obsessed :) Thank you! I have not heard of Puff Pals but it looks soooooo cute. Can't wait! ❤❤
One Game I am very excited about (and may add to the List) is Fall of Porcupine.🥰 Its such a cute Game with a very real Story about a young Doctor who is new in Town. It has such an amazing Artstyle too😍 Kinda reminds me of Night in the Woods! And there is already a Demo out on the Switch!! Im very hyped for this Game and think more people NEED to know about it🥰🥰
Puffpals looks so cute! Plus waiting for DDLV to be free so excited! I got potion permit and Cult of the lamb cause of your recommendations along with cozy grove! I'm also looking at a little to the left for switch as well but waiting for it to go on sale cause I'm broke😭🥺😂
The top 4 games I'm so so excited for is witchbrook, haunted chocolatier, puffpals, and fae farm 😭 ova magicka and sun haven also look really good but as of now only seem to be on steam. I hope at some point once early access is done that little witch in the Woods comes to switch I can't fully get into pc games smh
First of all, OMG I love those lights you have in the background! Could you please tell me where you got them from? 🙏Secondly, your eye makeup is amazing and goes so perfectly with your hair. And last but not least, great list! I'm so looking forward to Puffpals, everything about it just looks perfect. And I was so excited about Coral Island that I bought it on Steam because I couldn't wait for the Switch release, but that was before they had proper controller support so I ended up dropping it because the controls were so frustrating. I might try it again now that's fixed, but maybe I'll just wait until it's out of early access so I can have the full experience. I didn't know about spells and secrets, but I guess that's another one to add to the ever-growing wishlist 😂
This is one of the best year for games yet. Im so excited for puffpals and there is also the the second breath of the wild 2 and one piece oddessy, a new rpg series. Theres also a new hogwarts wizard game coming out in feburary
I am so crazy excited about Puffpals Island Sky's! I heard about it a year ago and sadly missed the Kickstarter backing! However I did pre-order and prepaid for some in game content! I have heard that it won't be out on the Switch till 2025! Yikes!
Omg these games 😍, I'm so excited for all of them. Already started saving trying hard not to spend to much in the sales. I'm terrible with money honestly but these games are great looks like we are in for another amazing year of cozy games. Also coral island is brilliant I've jumped between mostly that one on my gaming laptop to pokemon scarlet and violet on my switch. Be tempted to also buy coral island on switch as well when it comes out as its that good.
I'm so intrigued by the concept of outer worlds! I'll be keeping a close eye on that one. And like many, I am of course so desperately waiting for coral islands full release
I LOVE Stardew Valley, it made me a fan of farming sims so every farming sim I've played, I can't help but compare it to lol. So I've been aware of Haunted Chocolatier for awhile and I'd rather Concerned Ape take his time to come up with something amazing. I know it hasn't been said yet but I am hoping there will be romance and marriage options in this game too. I am more than likely to get it on Steam rather than Switch since I got Stardew Valley on Steam and just am use to the controllers from it.
I grabbed Oxenfree on sale last week, still need to play it yet though. Looks awesome though so happy there's a second one! So stoked for Haunted Chocolatier and more than willing to wait however long it takes heh Also super excited for Puff Pals!! I wasn't able to back it but am going to try and preorder it as they have it open still since I got my Steam Deck. I LOVE Coffee Talk, soooo excited for the second one!! The first gave me such inspiration feels for working on my writing (Urban Fantasy author) too. Have been loving Coral Island on Deck in the early access so am super excited to see it completed, and hopefully controller support as the remap only goes so far lol Storyteller looks really interesting! Will have to check it out! Spells and Secrets also looks really cool!
Puffpals has confirmed they are trying for a switch port at some point. Also you can purchase plushies of most of the characters!! I loved the concept so much I backed them on kickstarter ❤
What a cool list. I hadn't heard of Spells & Secrets, but it's definitely on my radar now. Side note: One recent release I haven't heard you mention in any vids but think you *might* enjoy is Togges. It's a super relaxing puzzler / "explore the world and collect everything" type of game, and while I can't quite explain why, the little cube dudes you control are something I find incredibly cute. I feel like it's one of those games that got overlooked due to lots of other releases happening at the same time, but which other cozy gamers might also enjoy. Just thought I'd mention it, as I've really been enjoying it so far, and it has a decent chunk of content to dive into. Regardless, Happy New Year! I look forward to seeing what games come out for us cozy gamers in the next few months.
If Storyteller on the switch is anywhere near as good as the demo was on pc it'll probably be my number one game of 2023, I'm so happy it's finally coming!
I was debating if I should get Coffee Talk and Oxen Free before their sequels came out and now I am convinced to do so! I love how you find games that I had not heard of yet. Really intrigued by Outer Wilds and Puff Pals.
Games I’m excited for - SCHiM, Pile Up! , islands and trains, Make Room, Boat Game, and Return, all of these are very unclear If they are coming to switch or not. I sure hope.
I backed their Kickstarter! I can’t wait for Puffpals🙌🏻
It looks so wholesome!!
Lucky. I didn’t hear about it until it was over or I would have.
Me too. Looking forward to it.
Me too!!
I too backed it. Plus got a bunch plushies. 🥰
I’ve never been more excited for a game than I am for Haunted Chocolatier. ConcernedApe is a treasure and a legend
Puff Pals and The Plucky Squire look simply breathtaking, hope they both don't disappoint
I'm so excited about all of these ahhh! You're always the best place to get cozy game information from!
I'm soooo excited for Puff Pals! I've been a kickstart supporter since their sheep campaign
Thank you so much for your support for Spells & Secrets
I am a new gamer as of this past year (grew up with consoles but not many games that kept me interested) and I have thoroughly appreciated your videos! They are interesting, informative, objective, and cover a broad spectrum of genres! Thank you for helping me ease into the community!
I didn’t think I’d be into PuffPals (farming sim fatigue) but my gods, the aesthetics and house decorating sold me! I can’t wait to live out my cottagecore dreams in that game
The plucky squire looks so good!! Omg! I love the 2D and 3D art being combined!!
Ah, I'm so excited about Puff Pals Island Skies! I backed their Kickstarter and got lots of the cute in game exclusives, plus a few of the plushies, and I am dyyyying to see them 😩 I hope they're able to release on Switch this year.

Spells & Secrets is definitely for me!
I am so excited for Puff Pals, it looks beyond adorable and will fill the void Animal Crossing left nicely.

I can’t wait for Coffee Talk 2!! The first is one of my my favourite 16-bit style visual novels 🫶
OMG Eowna! You haven't played Outer Wilds????? You have to play it!! It's such an experience, I swear, it's my favourite game of all times. You're going to love it. I didn't know it was coming to the switch but I'm so happy so more many people will get to play this masterpiece. I loved Oxenfree, looking forward to the next part. Love your channel, I found so many great games thanks to you!! Playing Wylde Flowers right now and it´s really good.

I'm SO excited about Puff Pals!!! 😍
Puffpals looks amazing 😊 I really hope they bring it to the Switch. The home decor is so adorable 💜🌵
I am exactly like you when it comes to pikmin! STRESS! PANIC! AAAAA! I'd like a pikmin game where they're endangered and you have to raise them to release them and idk throw some farming elements in there too, that would be nice and ~calm~

I backed puffpals at a high tier and we're supposed to getting an early access demo early this year :)
oh my gosh i love coffee talk!!!
Puffpals looks so cute 🥺🥺🥺
I contributed to the Puffpals Kickstarter because I knew it was going to be something I am going to spend hours on! I'm soooooo excited!
This is one of the best year for games yet. Im so excited for puffpals and there is also the the second breath of the wild 2 and one piece oddessy, a new rpg series. Theres also a new hogwarts wizard game coming out in feburary
I'm really glad to see that Oxenfree 2 has subtitles. I couldn't play the first one because I couldn't "hear" it.
I am so excited!! Thank you so much Eeowna
Cannot wait for Haunted Chocolatier. I do agree it probably won't be this year, but thats just fine!
I backed the kickstarter for puffpals. Absolutely cannot wait
I believe the Puff Pals Devs said the full release won’t be until ~2025-2026? I could be wrong.
I hope the days are longer and there's no fishing in Haunted Chocalatier!
Finally I have been waiting for storyteller for ages. I thought they must have cancelled it 😊
i absolutely can't wait for oxenfreeeeeeee !!
I'm so glad that I came across this video!!! So many games to look forward too!!!
Especially excited fdor Haunted Choclatier & Coral Island
I grabbed Oxenfree on sale last week, still need to play it yet though. Looks awesome though so happy there's a second one!
So stoked for Haunted Chocolatier and more than willing to wait however long it takes heh
Also super excited for Puff Pals!! I wasn't able to back it but am going to try and preorder it as they have it open still since I got my Steam Deck.
I LOVE Coffee Talk, soooo excited for the second one!! The first gave me such inspiration feels for working on my writing (Urban Fantasy author) too.
Have been loving Coral Island on Deck in the early access so am super excited to see it completed, and hopefully controller support as the remap only goes so far lol
Storyteller looks really interesting! Will have to check it out! Spells and Secrets also looks really cool!
I’m so excited for puffpals but I feel like it may not come to switch until 2025 😭 Idk if I can wait that long haha it’s my only console
Not 2025 PLZ 😭
@@Eeowna I think I saw that on their website but I’m pretending like I didn’t 😭😭 I swear PC gets everything first I’m over it haha
Thanks! Looks to be some good games here. Although I didn’t manage to get into Dreamlight Valley. Maybe because I dislike mobile gaming.
Puffpals has confirmed they are trying for a switch port at some point. Also you can purchase plushies of most of the characters!! I loved the concept so much I backed them on kickstarter ❤
I just know Haunted Chocolatier is gonna be my new favorite game!
I can’t wait for some of these games
If Storyteller on the switch is anywhere near as good as the demo was on pc it'll probably be my number one game of 2023, I'm so happy it's finally coming!
Ahhh most of these I really want to try out!! Omg 😆 can they come out now
I was debating if I should get Coffee Talk and Oxen Free before their sequels came out and now I am convinced to do so! I love how you find games that I had not heard of yet. Really intrigued by Outer Wilds and Puff Pals.
Games I’m excited for -
SCHiM, Pile Up! , islands and trains, Make Room, Boat Game, and Return, all of these are very unclear If they are coming to switch or not. I sure hope.
I’m so psyched for Oxenfree 2!
I’m so ready to get creeped out 😂
Omg i love your backdrop lights! where are they from 💜🥹
I'm pretty sure puffpals won't be on switch until 2025! I know it's coming out in alpha access on pc in 2023 tho :) I'm so excited!!
