Curious to hear your thoughts on the bottom ramp smokes since the T spawns have drastically changed the timing. I haven't caught a Vertigo map yet in premier so I don't know.
It's brutal. I think the meta is going to shift quite a bit, but it's hard to say without the pros playing on this update in the RMR. The Ts should have a huge advantage taking ramp control. At this point, Vertigo is just a rush map which I find to be crazy. I think the bottom ramp smokes can still be useful, especially in slower rounds, but I'll need a few more reps to figure everything out. We played in a Vertigo tournament on Faceit this weekend, and made it to the Semis still using the bottom ramp smokes, but we got obliterated by ramp rushes in that matchup versus austincs's WICKED.
I dont throw that smoke anymore. I just wait for them to push/rush ramp and double or single nade it with HE. They get discouraged next rounds to blindly push ramp ramp
i dislike the left and right smokes on a and b, since cs2 u can just use one , for b u just need 1 behind gen and one on window (or how you call it connector) and on a you need to shift walk couple of steps (from the position u showed, maybe the lineup is a little different but still) and JT and it covers the whole gap. after that you can walk to the next sandbags pile and molly headshot and throw the flashes u showed in another video and u can push without ever showing urself
Yeah I definitely should’ve shown the options for both. I’m seeing most pros still throwing two smokes for these, which is interesting to me. I decided to just show the basics of these, the barebone essentials for the map.
@@CS2Tactics it can be argues that 1 smoke can be too thin on the edges but other than that 1 is enough IMO ^^ but we will see when and if pros change that aswell
There's a big problem with the ramp and yellow smoke! - T spawns are now way closer to all site and by the time the ramp and yellow smokes pop they would already taken control of the spot 10 times out of 10! - I use the the A site utility belt (ramp smoke, molly and nade yellow) but by the time I get to short some T was already there peaking out! *Now we only molly the hell out of ramp and yellow just to prevent the T progress 😂 Ramp smoke is pretty much irrelevant right now😅

On A 1 smoke works, but on B it definitely doesnt, talking by experience here. Too thin on the edges, someone with a brain can abuse it.

You’re 100% correct. I’m honestly hoping they revert the changes as it’s turned Vertigo into a rush map. The timings are crazy right now.
