If that felony was eligible for a YOA sentence at the time meaning you were between 17-25 yrs of age then it may qualify for an expungement. I'd need to know more about your conviction to be able properly answer this.
I know, this is an old video sir. However, i was convicted of cdv (1st offense, under the old law) i was able to get it expunged off my record, as per SLED catch and public index. Per your professional legal opinion, am i allowed to own a firearm? Every law i've read, federal and state, seem to say that i can. I just wanted a true professional's opinion.
Even if the gun is in your name, if you are excluded from possessing the firearm by one of the enumerated exclusions in the statute then in South Carolina you are prohibited under state law from possessing a firearm. Thanks for your comment.
What if you have just one non violent felony and it’s over 20+yrs. Can I get my gun rights restored?
