I love your videos, Hana! You’re so compassionate I feel like. It’s like we’re leading parallel lives as well! I’ve been trying to go to the gym and lose weight and love that you show the intimate parts of your life, it’s so relatable!!🥹
I’m obsessed with steph soo too. I watch/listen to rotten mango while working. and I see that case on her videos a lot. 😂 love that you were not disheartened about your experience in the Philippines and still decided to come back. Hope you have a nice time and stay safe!!! 🤗🤗
I can totally relate about not being emotionally connected to my parents growing up! I never had a bad relationship with them, but I can't say I was emotionally close. I love how relatable and open your videos are :-) and pls do give updates on the tea, would love to know if it rlly helps w bloating
I feel you when you talk about not being emotionally connected with your parents. I am the same way with my parents and now that they have aged and softened. I sometimes get very upset and disturbed when they, especially mom, express that they need me more now that they are growing older. Like, where were you when I was younger and needed your support and guidance? sort of feeling. I subconsciously blame myself for not being closer or at least try to connect to them more but I have to remind myself that that isn't my responsibility and I need to do what feels natural and comfortable for me. Perhaps, now that they are changing and softening, our relationship will naturally become more authentic(?). I still do think that if I had a healthier relationship with my parents growing up, I would have grown up more emotionally stable and independent rather than looking for that warmth and comfort in boyfriends who were either too young or emotionally unavailable at the time. Now that I'm older and perhaps a bit wiser(?), I do understand that life is tough and our parents and I live in different generations where societal norms on parenting is completely different...but I try to be a different parent for my daughter now that I'm a mom. Thanks Hana for always opening up to your viewers and sharing your thoughts and feelings. Your contents always make me pause self-reflect. It is very therapeutic in a literal sense. I know your views aren't what they used to be years ago. But I just want you to know that you continue to touching on many people's lives and resonate with them through your work.
Hi Hana! We're around the same age and what you said about connecting with your parents emotionally really resonated with me. I've been thinking about this a lot since I have also seen my dad change in recent years. I hear it happens a lot when parents become grandparents, but I don't have kids and I know you and Jimmy don't either. So it's a mystery to me! But anyways... life is wild lol
i just finished watching one of stephanie soo's videos before watching your video! huge fan of rotten mango too haha. btw where is your green coat from at 11:53? it looks super cozy!
i also feel the same about my parents. i wish i was close to them emotionally while i was growing up. trying to initiate it now it’s very awkward and uncomfortable 😖😖
My boyfriend bought an owala and he loves it! He said it's super useful especially when you're driving and you just wanna sip on some water 🤗 Also do you have any bloating tips? I deal with bloating super often and it sucks because people say even eating fruits, that can cause bloating 🥺
omg yesss!! owala!!! hehe and honestly i don't have a lot of tips but i do feel like increasing my fiber intake has helped me a lot. but everyone's tummy is so different so it's hard to give advice on that :(
