It was a heartmoving event, indeed. Especially to a musician like me, growing up listening their albums, being inspired and motivated by their devotion to music. You made me remember we're all human, if I have respect towards the piece all I need is practice, so thank you for coming and please continue till you have no listeners left. :)
In 2018 I took an orchestral conducting course and this overture was the one I choose to conduct two pianos (as I was participating as a listener, I was unable to conduct in front of the orchestra since active students had priority first).

its a carbon fiber bell. he says it makes the tuba light enough that in his old age he can still perform with it walking around which is necessary for some of their sets. personally i think it sounds just fine
