After installing the dual axis kit and aligning and printing successfully, if the add on stepper is manually moved, throwing the height alignment out will the stepper automatically realign itself when next moved or will it continue to operate out of alignment? Thanks

Hi, I own a ender 3 v2 and it looks like the connector for the z stepper motor is glued to the board.
Any tips? Would be great if you made a conversion harness so you don't have to go into the board and attach the cables.

The glue can be easily removed with your fingernails or flathead screwdrivers. By now the glue should be quite hard and brittle.

Only for the ender 3 and such where the power supply would be in the way of the new z axis

helps prevent layer shift and z sagging from the weight of a direct drive. however it's good to have even if you dont have direct drive. worth it IMO
