Thank you so much Andy, I really really enjoyed watching you create that marvellous piece. I really really love ❤️ how it turned out and I really really love ❤️ how you showed us all how to create the same. Please stay safe and well too xxx Mags
Great background - a quick question please. Are you using Decoart Traditions paint? There are a lot of places to buy Decoart Americana, but they don't seem to have the same color lines as the Traditions, which I see are more expensive paints
Andy Skinner you've done it again! I have watched hundreds of arty videos but I think this is one of the best. Just dying to get my hands on some of these stamps. I wish I didn't live on such an awkward island. What type of stamps did you use? I looked on the deco Art site but they dont have them. I have never used rubber stamps and dont really know what to search for or what type of ink pad is best. Please advise!
Where do you live? The ink pad was 'Archival', you can get it from Amazon, but if like me you live on a Mediterranean island, you may have trouble getting deliveries!
Andy, do you find that adding up to 50% water to your acrylic paint causes the paint to flake off as it ages? I was taught not to add more than 1/3 water to the paint to avoid late flaking, but it is hard to get the lovely transparency you have at this paint dilution
I used Traditions transparent red iron oxide. I don't know if alcohol can lose its potency but my 90% didn't smell like alcohol at all so I'm thinking maybe that was my problem. I'm going to try again once I get some new alcohol and the easy float. Thanks Andy! I'm so excited that you have new techniques to teach us.

Not sure what I'm doing wrong but I tried it on heavy cs and the rubbing alcohol isn't working :(
