I wish The Bishop had a better picture of my life in America, The Western World. I have found that others could care less about you. In fact the only one I got to hold onto is "Jesus, The Father, Son and Holy Ghost" I'm past 50. I'm good to others and I've got "shewed" off. Because I needed directions to the main road or tried to save people a parking ticket. I'm ill, no children, no husband. People do not care about me or my individual rights. My blood father doesn't even recognize me as a child, first child. It simply doesn't matter. I know my world has literally turned upside down with each decade I've lived. I'm so very tired, hurt, and feel crushed and depressed most the time. Can not get others to understand because they don't have time.😑

With all Love and respect to you Bishop Mari, in First Corinthians chapter 14, verses 1-5 it plainly says that tongues can also be for private personal conversations / edification between the Christian and God and Paul wished everyone spoke in tongues but it is better IN Church to prophesy. There is a place for this gift but not in church UNLESS a Christian present can interpret. the greatest gift is Love. There have been times in my life I did not know how to pray so I prayed in the Spirit knowing the Holy Spirit knew what was needed to be said to the Father bypassing my mortal brain. Please pray about this.
This is how i got close to Jesus . By Praying the All Mysteries Rosary and on the Sorrowful Mysteries (3rd Mystery ) once i really contemplated His Suffering for my sins and i broke down in tears so badley my tears were actually squirting out of my eyes and landing on my tee-shirt. And all of a sudden i felt this warm firm pressure on my heart like He reached out and wrapped His hand around it. And i didnt stop Praying i just kept going and it seemed as though my words were coming straight outta my heart , like i was speaking words out from my heart and in that moment i had reached a union of heart ♥ with Him that ill never forget..And Hes never left me since.
Theres a young Catholic couple that have the All Mysteries and many other Prayers and they say them slowly and with heartfelt emotion. Their site is called A Catholic Minute. They even have their children Praying with them so its great for the individual or families.

To the person who brought the question, "how can I get closer to God(the all mighty), feel God"? I pray you read this. The holy spirit says, repent from sin my beloved brother or sister. Sin is the only thing separating you from the lord. Once you turn away from any kind of darkness, there is the lord Jesus, holding your hand, guiding you down the narrow path that leads to life. I’ve been lost and have spent the evening listening to your broadcast trying to figure out what’s next. I was just about to start playing with the worship team a month ago. Then something has happened with my health and I don’t blame God at all but not understanding why now. I’ve returned back to church first of the year and witnessing to people while performing in bars I’m a musician play guitar & sing. Then found a church and been so happy turning my life back over to God. Was so happy to finally join the worship team and for whatever reason life on life’s terms have taken away my voice and have had to go on oxygen 24x7 and tears my soul apart. I don’t question the Lord why? I just must remain faithful and try to understand why music has been taken from me now. What’s the plan the Lord has for me? I can’t give up and if Gods ready to take me home then I will always have faith and know whatever he wants I will follow. Just seemed like everything was going good, was starting with the worship team and just feel like everything has been taken from me now. I won’t lose faith just confused as to what he wants now from me. Music is what I have always had to give back to this world . Would witness in the bars, then the position opened for performing in our church and now feel like everything has been taken that I have to offer the world.
Just pray things come to me in his time as to what is my purpose now?!

I had Love when I was raised in a tight knit family. I didn't have close relationship with my daddy. My mother divorced him. Due to severe differences. When distant family members come to our home they hugged us and kissed us. We had manners but was never told to stay in our rooms. The children was showed love rather a niece, cousin, etc nephews. My great grandmother had 12 children and a number of grand and great grandchildren.

Umm.. so quick thought, if you understand that God created man, then you also understand the basic math of Greatest and great.
Include some basic science and understanding of dimensions and you understand the difference between Plasma and ice and space differences as well as energy levels they occupy...
Playful thought exercise, what would happen to a vessel like a bottle if you suddenly changed the water in it into plasma?

I agreed with things up to the point that Mari said the church decided certain books weren't authentic without considering the fact that the church became so powerful, that the devil saw his opportunity to subvert father's authority. That's the reason the church fell, and fractured into denominations. Here's their problem though, because the church, mother, went sideways and decided to dominate every aspect of life, through corrupted priests that rose through hierarchy in a machiavellian, narcissistic pursuit of power, it needed to remove books that would give people perspective and knowledge to the harmonic balanced and grateful coexistance... it needed to subvert the idea of mankind's freedom, and choice.
To ignore that part of history is to ignore the very reason things are standing the way they are... this goes for Jews, Christians, Muslims, Hindus, Taoist, Buddhist etc...
Once the mother was shown to have went out of line, it's only the father that can give the confidence to truly trust her/them again... as they are on their own roads of redemption. Just haven't quite got there yet because they haven't done an honest audit, that requires all of the knowledge to identify the enemy, that is being denied... so each religion keeps burying the tools to their own salvation because they are too cowardly to confront the past, the present, and the future of all.
This can only begin with dialogue, education, and everyone looking to reach truth, not to be right.
Your salvation lies in your brother's hands, and his in yours. This goes for Jews, Christian's, Muslims, Hindus, Buddhists, Taoists, "Pagans ", Norse, etc.
For once in your lives address the mistakes, tell the truth, accept the constructive criticism, and stop the tit for tat. Read your own history, honestly, with open eyes, and heavy heart. Face how far from your proclamations you stand.
As a baptised Protestant I have to agree with Bishop’s understanding of how the world should only fight evil with good. You look at the LGBT whatever movement, you will find fewer and fewer people believe same-gender relationships to be a sin. It is a severe sin because some people fail to see why each person came to earth, to give births to children. They indulge in their own lust, twisted again by Demon, this time not lust at women, but at the same gender.

There's no Orthodox church within about 135 miles.
